Had tried emailing and texting for assistance right after purchase....no answer. Now I find out (after return period expired) that I will have to use two remotes to work tv. Hopefully the cable people can assist and I can do away with Vizio remote. Everything else fine ——

Posted .Hello ebs1961, the television remote does not come with a universal remote. If you would like to try and program the cable box to control the television you can find the universal codes at support.vizio.com.

When I try using the remote to fix it, it doesn’t give me the option to maximize the screen.
