    Amazing price for a 40 inch LED smart tv. Makes using streaming services easy. Picture is not that great.

    Absolutely the worst Smart TV to set up!

    Maybe I am spoiled by Samsung and Insignia TV's I have purchased but this Visio was and continues to be nothing but trouble. I tried for over 60 minutes and the TV cycled through update after update and restart after restart. I finally gave up. I can get any screen to pop up so i can download an App. Will try again today and if unsuccessful I will return it to Best Buy

      Hello Bobby, the television will have an update or two during the initial setup of the television but this should only take a short amount of time and once complete you should be prompted to finish the setup and go to the SmartCast screen.     Unable to get Geek Squad protect plan

    I bought my computer and have been trying to sign up for a Geek Squad protection plan. Can't seem to get anyone's attention. I've virtual chatted, called and signed up for virtual callbacks (with no callbacks} reached out through Facebook message and post and no response. Probably just as well I'm not buying the plan because their service looks pretty bad.

    This tv is absolutely a pos, the tv has a mind of its own from almost day 1 it has not worked perfectly. When I shut the tv off it turns back on, when I try to open a app that’s not Netflix it automatically closes what I’m trying to do and goes to Netflix. I will never buy a vizio tv again.

    I order this tv back in December and just opened the box as of today April 30th. Took it out the box plugged it and nothing it won’t even show a picture and Best Buy says because it’s over 14days it’s nothing they can. Do not buy this tv! I’m highly upset $307 Right out the door! Will never buy a tv from Best Buy or VIZIO again. First and last time!

    Terrible tv. Stopped working after 2 months. Vizio customer service was terrible. Took over 1 month to get a technician to come out to fix a brand new TV and he stripped the screw so he couldn't take the back off to assess the problem. Brand new TV was finally replaced with a recertified TV. Will never buy another Vizio product.

    All apps wouldn’t start or even get to a loading screen. We talked to Vizio support and they were not able to help. Then the tv started giving us HDMI issue notifications and wouldn’t show us the inputs. We bought two of these and had to return both for the same issues after hours of troubleshooting and talking on the phone with support

    Picture isn’t as good as other 4K hdr TVs. Samsung was better.

      Hello Chris, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that your source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture settings that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room, try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room, try Calibrated Dark. VIZIO

    When first installed I thought the speakers were damaged. Worst audio I have ever experienced. After contacting the manufacturer and waiting more than 3 weeks,a repair tech arrived with new speakers and installed them . This made little or no difference. The picture quality is acceptable. Stick with Samsung.

    When my tv arrived it didn’t work. I returned it and was able to get another one. The second one would not update and I had to return that one. This time I got a refund and I will buy a different brand next time. Best Buy was helpful in that the returns were not too difficult in this coronavirus age.

    I've had nothing but problems with mine. I've have other Vizio TVs and never had problems with those. I can't get this tv to talk nice with my Harmony or Sonos products. Also you're always forced to go through the SmartCast app. Vizio needs to seriously review and update the firmware on this product.

      Hi TheScout. Sorry that your harmony remote isn't working with the TV. Does the VIZIO remote that was included with your TV work fine? If it does- it may point to a problem with the Harmony remote. If you've got some free time, give us a call at 1 (855) 833-3221, so we can help. I'm also not sure what you mean when you say that you 'forced' to use the SmartCast app. SmartCast mobile is an optional tool to let you control the TV from a tablet or smartphone, but it's not required to operate the TV.     We have had this TV for less than 6 months and one of the legs on the TV snapped. The TV hasn't been moved or touched since we put it up. Now we are having to pay to replace one leg on the TV. I have never purchased a Vizio before but people we know recommended them I will not purchase another.

    No presets on imput so you need to rest the imput if you want something besides the TV. About once a week you need to unplug the TV because the buttons won't work. At this price there is way too many issues, and truly not worth buying at any price

    This TV did not meet my expectation so I had to RETURN it and this is the reason for the TV I have today. I have friend who has a VIZO but hers were one of those that was purchased in 2009 which was a better model she still has hers but it did not work in my favor,

    Unfortunately defective. Slow, locked up, had to be unplugged often to reset. Fortunately, Best Buy made rapid and entirely satisfactory exchange and reminded me why brick and mortar stores and real people still beat online when things don't go as expected. Thanks, Best Buy!

    Picture quality was not the best. Speakers sounded horrible. They vibrated real bad. Took tv back and exchanged for Samsung tv. It’s much better

    Home page unavailable after update. The only app that worked was Netflix. Called tech support they knew about the issue but no fix was in place. Returned the TV and bought a Samsung it worked well straight out of the box.

    You can imagine my surprise when I discovered that this touch trash can was flimsy and completely unsuitable for our business. I am sure it might have lasted a few months at best. Why are items like this made so badly.
