    We purchased (2) of these exact same tvs. One works great, the other does not. Vizio wants to blame the tv on our internet and said we should not use it on the internet. Horrible customer service by Vizio....do not buy!

    Poor description of time & it wasn’t only damaged it didn’t function at all. Never was able to use it. They should have put this in the trash not try to sell it & make money. That’s called stealing.

    Worst TV we've ever owned!

    We have had problems very early on with this TV and it's only gotten worse. The TV randomly will not turn on or off when we use the button on the TV or the remote control. Vert frustrating!!

      Hi Cschell. The TV shouldn't be having issues powering on and off. Since it's happening with the buttons on the side of the TV, as well as the remote- it seems like the TV may be the culprit. VIZIO prides itself on creating a quality product that will last for year, unfortunately a small amount of models (regardless of brand) may have problems.     Purchased at a local Bestbuy and lived with me only two days and then returned because of poor video quality. It displayed some yellowish and not adjustable. It seems a characteristic of LCD itself.

We also included a variety of preset picture modes including ‘Calibrated’ for brighter rooms and for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. VIZIO

    I got it as a gift for christmas and not even having for 3 weeks and the leg broke and caused my tv to fall over. If you do get this, tape the legs of the tv to wherever you’re putting it on.

    The color was weird and picture quality was horrible. We watched for 2 days and had a headache everytime we watched it. We returned it and purchase Samsung which is much better.

    I bought this to use with WiFi only. I found that it is kind of hard to Smartcast when the Vizio Smartcast service doesn’t work. Don’t worry... they are working on a patch.

    My daughter bought these for her college apartment and had to return it 3 times for software issues. On the third return, BB happily exchanged for a different brand.

    Very disappointed Disney plus couldn't be available in this TV. Samsung didnt offer one this size that we needed due to restricted space

      Hello Streamer, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. VIZIO

    Price: Got it for $100 on Black Friday, doesn’t get much cheaper than that Screen Size: Around 40 inches. Nice that it’s bigger than the usual 32 inches but still fit into the small space I had Resolution: 4K is what I was looking for to support my PS4 Pro console at the time Refresh Rate: 60Hz. I did shop around for 120Hz but seems the market for small 120Hz displays almost exclusively catered to monitors over TVs at the time Latency: I actually have no idea what the spec is but I played a ton of Warzone (fast paced FPS) and didn’t observe any noticeable delays Sound: It’ll get the job done, but don’t expect Dolby Atmos or anything. Sometimes it struggles with really low/high frequency sounds but I don’t think anyone is buying this expecting home theater level quality Color: Sometimes you’ll notice the bright colors are really washed. It’s not that easy to notice though unless you have a baseline reference (I used to have an OLED) Software: Comes with a lot of free stuff but can be pretty buggy at times like AirPlaying content from your mobile device or apps like Netflix not loading (however I would just power cycle). It’s understandable though because this is their low end tier so developer or quality control efforts will probably be minimal compared to their high end models Verdict: Buy it if you are looking for a cheap 4K 40 inch TV

      Hello Moonkeep, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that your source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture settings that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room, try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room, try Calibrated Dark. VIZIO
