    Not happy with this TV, plan to return, Here’s why

    I am not happy with this TV and plan to return it this weekend. Here’s why. First off it has no coaxial cable input so you can’t plug-in a standard TV cable. YouTube App doesn’t work! And never will, tech support solution is to cast YouTube from my phone, which works but is an inconvenience. You can’t add or remove apps, you can’t update apps. Everything on the home screen is geared around getting you to spend money to watch almost everything that is on display. I have paid subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and my cable company… NOT SPENDING MORE! This TV does have an amazing picture (to be expected with 4k) and a reasonable price, for that I’ll give it 1 star but 0 stars for everything else.

I wanted to let you know that the content you see on the SmartCast input is aggregated from multiple providers including Vudu, NBC, Pluto TV, Hulu, and other great applications that we have built-into our TV's. We also have added several other applications to them and will continue to improve upon our SmartCast TV's and Display's by updating apps and adding additional apps. We do not have a way of adding additional applications as our SmartCast platform utilizes built-in Chromecast technology so you can cast literally thousands of different Chromecast-enabled applications from a mobile device. For subscription services you already use such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video all you need to do is open the app and sign in. No additional fee is required.
