Flawless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was time to upgrade my tv because I have PlayStation Pro so I got this tv. With a 350$ price tag I was skeptical. Let me tell you, vizio didn't disappoint. 4k and hdr? Flawless, simply put.

Easy Installation, Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed this TV immediately after receiving it, went up on the wall with no issues and has a crystal clear display. Highly recommended if you're looking for a nice 4K TV.

Don't expect quality service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this through Dell and installed in August of 2016. Thought it was a great deal for a 4k Ultra HD TV. Once you get past the idea of not having the Smart Apps on the TV and having to "cast" them from your personal device it acts like a regular tv. I have to say i didn't notice anything outstanding in the picture quality. However, here's the kicker. After about 8 months of periodic use (not daily), the picture started to get dark spots at random places and at random intervals. I called Dell tech support and they said to power it off and disconnect all devices. This seemed to do the trick. However now, at 13 months, the issue is back and not going away. With the distraction of Hurricane Irma and having to evacuate I delayed in reaching out to Vizio support until now. After days of back and forth i finally got this "best in class" response: *********** Thank you for your recent inquiry with VIZIO. Here at VIZIO we do offer best in class technical support. *********** [email protected] via ql62o2dj7wq5eh.1a-kftfea4.na24.bnc.salesforce.com 12:42 PM (2 hours ago) to me, Unforutnately with this, it would be outside of the warranty time frame. The unit would need to be replaced. Thanks and have a great day! They expect their tvs to last 7-10 years. This one lasted 1.1 so best i can do is offer you a replacement one for $150 off retail. Sorry but i'm not going to recommend a brand that you may have to replace ever year. You would think a company that is serious about Customer Service would be more customer sensitive and not just focused on the bottom line..

Disappointing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV drives me crazy (so far). When I researched 4k TV's from BestBuy, this TV checked all the boxes. But so far (3 months in), its been very very very underwhelming. I have two other 4k TV's in my house, and you KNOW they are 4k when you watch them, its evident. This Vizio TV doesn't seem like it's even 1080hp. I guess you get what you pay for? But was hoping that wasn't the case with this TV. I've gone as far as buying "4k HDMI Cables" for this TV, because I heard from a friend that it would help. The cable didn't help. I feel like there's a switch on the TV that I don't know about? I am praying that's the case. Thinking about giving this TV away...

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. A few things that may help you get the best quality picture: make sure the content you are watching is being broadcast or streamed in 4K, the Display can only show what resolution it is receiving.

You Get What You Pay For
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I won't make this review long, to make a long story short, you get what you pay for. I returned this TV in less than 24 hours for a more expensive Samsung. This is the worst 4k TV that I have ever purchased. The image quality is nowhere near 4K and there is no HDR technology here. I own 2 Samsung 8000 series 4K TVs and this Vizio looks like a 720p HDTV compared to my other 4K TVs. Then again that's the difference between a $2,000 product and a $399 product lol. I honestly owned a 42" Vizio 1080p HDTV that looks better than this monstrosity. When it comes to 4K just spend the extra dollars and get something of high quality, not this entry level budget HDTV equivalent.

Not a Smart TV without a seperate device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice TV, but you HAVE to connect a phone or tablet to use those features. That's OK if you want to always run around with your device, however, if you have guests, then THEY have to attach their device. It's really not smart or convenient. There are better TV's that are more versatile.

Posted .Thanks for taking the time to review our product. Thanks to feedback like your VIZIO has recently started rolling out an update that adds applications to the display. This means that applications like Netflix, Amazon, VUDU, and Hulu will be accessible on the display without using a phone or tablet to cast. If your display is connected to the internet it will automatically download the update when it becomes available. If you have any questions about the update feel free to contact our support team at 877-878-4946 – we’re here Monday thru Friday from 7am to 11pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 6pm CST.
