Great picture quality and color gamut. Very low input lag (around 19ms). Very low motion blur. I also tried a similarly priced Samsung RU7100, but found it to have much more noticeable motion blur when gaming. For the price, the Vizio M Series is hard to beat.

Great all-round TV that performs well in gaming, movies, sports, etc., without costing a fortune. Comes with built-up Airplay and Chromecast so that's value added. Vizio cheaped out on the stands however. Recommend to wall mount it or replace with a better stand.

    Good small TV

For the price, and the size, this TV is probably unbeatable for the generation. It's really crazy how affordable TVs have gotten, and VIzio provides a lot of bang for the buck. One drawback to the 43" is that it's essentially a different model altogether, with far fewer local dimming zones than all the models larger than it. I imagine this impacts the actual ability to showcase HDR content, but what it shows looks good. Blacks look really good, though. The smartcast platform is pretty decent, but is a little weird with some Google services not reaching their expected potential. Apparently each side blames the other. I have abundant means of getting those services anyway, but it's still a little strange. Most other services work totally fine, and reach their full potential.

Picture quality is over the top. Looks wonderful playing games with the PS4 and able to use the HDR feature which makes the game graphics look even better. Everything good reviewers say about this tv is the truth. No issues so far.

Excellent Picture Quality; but poor features

Excellent picture quality for full HD and 4k (upscalling from 720p and lower resolutions isn't great through). Once you get the hang of manipulating the picture controls (you'll probably need separate picture settings for HDR10 vs Dolby Vision vs regular HD content), the overall picture quality is excellent. Just be prepared to struggle with the settings a little in the beginning. However, the Smartcast software is extremely poor. It's straightforward but clunky and slow to navigate. In addition, two of the main selling features, Apple Airplay and built-in Chromecast, are extremely poor as well. Apple Airplay works only every once in a long while, and Chromecast is patchy, but not quite as poor. The majority of the issues with these things is that my devices don't recognize the TV as an option when I attempt to cast videos. I "solved" this problem by actually buying a real Chromecast Ultra dongle, and it works flawlessly. I "solved" the issue of having to use Smartcast by actually buying a Roku box. Regarding network performance, which you need for properly streaming 4k and HDR in the Smartcast apps, both wifi and ethernet give terrible speeds compared to the speeds I get from my ISP and can produce on my other devices. I get 100 Mbs from my ISP, and all my other devices have no issue in actually getting that amount of data when I conduct internet speed tests. The data speed test on my TV, for both wifi and ethernet, will only yield around 1.9 - 2.4 Mbs. This won't matter to you if you use only other streaming devices that connect to the TV via HDMI, which is what I do. Even though I'm happily enjoying my TV now (gaming on Xbox One X in 4k HDR is sweet, btw), I had to spend the extra money on a Roku and real Chromecast, which I shouldn't have had to do. Vizio attempted to integrate a smart TV interface and Casting ability, which were two main selling points for this TV, so I feel a little ripped off, since those two features function extremely poorly. Ultimately, if you just care about the picture quality, and you already have other devices for streaming/casting, this TV will serve you well. If you're looking for the TV that has it all, stay away from Vizio until they learn to write competent built-in software features.

Bought this to replace the tiny 22" tv I had in the bedroom. Works great. Nice sharp picture. Not any motion blur that I've seen yet. It is a great TV at an excellent price.

Almost took this tv back! Would not upscale past 1080p. Same problem with another tv I returned to Best Buy. Problem was........ MY CABLE BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COMCAST GAVE ME THE RIGHT BOX FOR MY LIVING ROOM TV. PROBLEM WAS THE BOX IN MY COMPUTOR ROOM HAD AN OLD 1090P BOX, WHICH WAS NO GOOD FOR UP SCALING! Nobody ever mentioned this problem in the past.. Vizio support told me the problem was with the box and getting a new box made the difference soooooooooo good had to savor the quality of the picture. Better then my 75" Samsung in the living room.

My first purchase of this TV had a horrible shipping dent, so got another, and so far I'm pretty happy with this TV. Contrast is good, I can't really tell when the dimming zones are doing their thing, HDR is fairly punchy and the colors are as accurate as any other high end unit. I do realize that some people have had bad luck with their panels on this TV, so I guess there may be some panel lottery involved. But my experience has been good so far. The sound could be better, but it's definitely better than my last mid size TV.

Bought for gaming, but I find this Vizio performs for movies too. A little bit of screen uniformity issues at times, but that's most lcd panels. Ultimately, this TV performs very well for gaming with its low latency game mode. It is also very good for movies. I've watched several dark movies (The Dark Night, Watchmen, 300, etc) with the full array backlight set to low and I've been impressed. Colors pop and blacks are ink dark. Imo price to performance is stellar with this M series Vizio.

This TV was higher priced than most 43" sets, but when you see the fantastic quality of the picture you'll understand why. I picked this set because it had all the features I wanted, along with great sound and closed captions. It does not sacrifice features just for great picture, and it had consistently high ratings. This is my first VISIO and I am sold on it. Always bought Sony and Samsung, but those TV;s couldn't match this set feature for feature.

I got a great deal on a practically brand new Open Box unit. Just some minor cosmetic scuffs on the back but the screen itself is fine. Picture quality looks great and the software is easy to use with no hiccups. Pairs with my Mac and my Samsung phone just fine. Highly recommend looking at Open Box units since new ones are out of stock.

This Vizio TV has a great picture and syncs easily with Alexa. I purchased it because of the ease of accessing apps like Prime Video, Hulu and Netflix, which it does well. On the other hand, accessing channels that come through my antenna isn’t so easy. The only other complaint I have about this TV is that the power cord died after only 3 months. I replaced it, and the tv works fine, but it wasn’t covered by any warranty.
