    Purchased this to replace my tv sound since its not loud enough but after setting this up i had to have it at 80+ volume nearly all the time to enjoy watching anything

    Doesn’t work well with Samsung TVs. Watching HULU and a commercial will come on. When it cuts back to the show, the sound is mute. Isolated this issue to the sound bar at not working well with Samsung TV.

    After a few times of using it there would be some days where it would play fine but then out if nowhere the soundbar would turn off but the base would continue to play.

    I have been using a well known surround system connected to an AV receiver and separate subwoofer for over 20 years. I thought it was time to upgrade and I am very pleased I did. The installation was a snap. I like the fact that the subwoofer is linked via a wireless connection already setup and linked right out of the box. The rear Left and Right speakers connect to the subwoofer via included cables. There are no speaker wires that have to be run to the sound bar itself. This makes for a nice clean installation. The sound quality exceeded my expectations. For years I was skeptical about sound bars. I am now convinced this is the way to go in a modern home entertainment system. I don't have any product in ATMOS but I can say the 5.1 surround is immersive and the 6" subwoofer creates more than enough bass. Dialogue is clean and crisp. Its nice to know I am ready for ATMOS content. Originally I connected the sound bar to my HDMI-ARC connection on my Sony XBR Android TV. There was an issue with intermittent sound. I researched the issue and come to find out this is known issue when using HDMI-ARC on this particular TV. The easy solution was to use the Optical Fiber connection from the TV to the soundbar. The problem is resolved and there is no change to the sound quality. BTW all cables are included. You can use an ECO mode that will turn the sound bar off after a few minutes of inactivity. The soundbar has a special input for your personal assistant. I have my Alexa connected and its a great way to stream music via a direct wired connection. You also have the option to connect to the Soundbar via Bluetooth. I have done this from my iPad quickly and without issue. So many options to connect to this system. The remote is unique in that it has a one line display that allows for easy navigation to options. The remote is not cluttered with buttons making it difficult to manage. Its clean and provides information in a concise clear manner. Basic EQ settings are provided and you have control of various audio levels and effects. You should refer to the included manual when settings these attributes. The manual is very easy to read and it explains all the features in clear language. It is difficult to understand the LED’s in the front of the sound bar unless you follow along in the manual, however once setup looking at the LEDs is not necessary. It is strange however that there is no WIFI connection or an APP for this product as I have a coffee maker that's on the internet! In reality its probably not necessary given all the ways to connect media to the Soundbar. I am very pleased with this system and can recommend it without hesitation.
