This is the best Dolby Atmos hometheater to get, price is really great and quality is mond blowing, beating out other higher end competitors.

Surprisingly great sound from this set. Purchased for my dad to use for christmas. The system sounds really good with pretty good atmos effects. Nothing can beat dedicated speakers in the ceiling, but there is an added element from the speakers bouncing the sound off of it. Very satisfied with what we found here. It cannot be a hub for your media, however. You would need to use your tv for that and just pass sound through to the soundbar. Not a problem, just something to note. The app has a fair amount of features but we sometimes had trouble getting everything to work from the remote and relied on the app to set it all up.

I upgraded from a middle of the pack vizio 5.1 surround bar. I am glad I did. I use an xbox one x for most of my content and go through the sound bar to a vizio p series tv. The sound is excellent. deep bass you can feel and clear voices, the best of both worlds. The atmos sound is quite good as well for not actually having ceiling mounted speakers. I have noticed that sound coming from the tv to the sound bar through the ARC doesn't seem to have nearly the quality as sound that goes through the soundbar to the TV. I am not sure if this is a settings or firmware issue with the bar as the quality of audio the soundbar can produce is excellent. I would highly recommend this for someone looking into a surround sound bar.

Excellent sound. Bass rocks. Lots of ability to customize. And i got it for $400! On clearance or something.

I audiophillic. Tried 4 different soundbar different brands, including a prior Vizio. It is so immersive and the cool feature of speakers moving to improve Atmos Sound.

One of the best soundbar I have tried to date. I have Nakamichi, Samsung, and Vizio's own other soundbars. 5.1.2 and V series 5.1. This soundbar by far is the clearest and loudest I've heard. Bass is phenomenal as well. Deep low end 30hz from an 8in subwoofer quality is amazing. Everything in the other rooms shakes as well. Dialog is super clear and other sounds and effects don't overpower over the dialogs. Easy to use controller with backlight is nice touch.

Upgraded from a vizio 5.1.2 so far I can tell the difference the sound is just more clear and wide range I put on spiderman 3 for my two friends and played the scene where Harry and Peter fight in the streets of New York their jaws hit the floor and we were all just stunned on how amazing the Dolby atmos sounded! I’m liking this system more and more everyday

I've had this soundbar for about a month now and I cannot complain about it! I went from a 5.1 conventional surround sound system and was a little hesitant about getting a soundbar because was not sure if the front speaker were wide enough to tell the difference between the right and left channels. Watching a movie that is Dolby Atmos, wow! this sounds amazing! you can distinctly tell where the sound is coming! I had to adjust the height speakers to be louder once I adjusted that it was awesome! Music via bluetooth is nice an crisp.

Pros: Once dialed in, it sounds absolutely incredible! Bass you can feel and a truly immersive sound. Remote is great to fine tune features, levels, and settings. Cons: the app absolutely, positively sucks. With this being a 4 year old system, there are tons of reviews that mention how crappy the app is. I was like “how bad can it be?” It’s bad. You’d think they’d have addressed this by now. Overall: skip the app, use the remote, and you will he in audio heaven.

This system sounds amazing, especially in Dolby! The rotating speakers are a little gimicky, but the sound difference is worth the few kinks I've found!

This thing is amazing. I have this setup in my bedroom with a LG C1 and lemme tell you that it makes the experience that much better. Watch anything with dolby vision or dolby atmos and just soak it all in. Clear vocals and tastefully placed accents of surround sound makes you not miss the movie theater. With music its like having on high quality headphones. Just re-listen to your favorite songs and pick out something new you havent heard of before. The only gripe I have is that you have to reselect some inputs to get audio again. But its not a dealbreaker.

The product is great when it works. Sound is great for price and amazing. However it is really buggy and the only real solution is to reset it. If you dont want to deal with the occasional hiccups, this isnt for you

Few things to bear in mind.  The length of the Soundbar!  Measure your furniture and measure your space.  Coming from a Sonos Arc it just never occurred to me that something could be longer.  This is and it isn't even close!  Second, if you are going to be using the app as opposed to the remote exclusively or even primarily -- may want to look elsewhere.  It often loses connection, is slow to make changes, often doesn't reflect them (or not) until you page out and back to whichever tab you are on. Then there is Atmos.  Didn't get anything from the Sonos Arc I'm coming from and don't think I'm getting anything here either.  Maybe some subtle effects.. nothing I could point my finger at and say "wow"!  That said you'll never get true Atmos from a Soundbar and 2 ear-ish level surrounds - so I'd you are counting on hearing rain drop from above you'd best look into installing overhead speakers. Final caveat... At full price this would be 4 stars.  (Rounded down... still a 4.49) At the Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Prime Day price (you know the one starting with a 6) it is an easy 5.  I've had none of the issues others have mentioned and I feared.  Must be luck of the draw or particular equipment combinations. Setup was fairly quick and painless.  Had to do it several times.  Not a biggie.. my "shoulda bought a car instead" ($$$$) whole house at once Sonos system was 2 weeks of absolute torture and still bugs me on the regular. The rear speakers are tiny.  Ridiculously so.  I immediately thought "this is going to end u going back".  Build quality on everything is above average. Once everything was going... No comparison with the Sonos Arc, subwoofer and 2 Ones as surrounds.  Vizio blew it away.  A lot more "going on".  Maybe not quite as clean and pure - hance sticking with Sonos for music, but for a "just want to watch a fun movie" no comparison. Those rears actually do pump out 10x more than their size would suggest.  Maybe even too much - without a room tuner may just want to take them down a notch or 3. Can play DTS. One way they could (cheaply) vastly improve this would be the option to add 2 side speakers. For home theatre (given limitations on running and placing a true 7.2.4 setup) I'm going to get a second Elevate for my basement.  The living room, alas has the Sonos ones screwed to the wall, and have the Arc and sub anyway, so that's staying as is.  the extra four Ones will go here and there for music . One tiny thing had me on the fence about 4 or 5 stars.  That annoying light on the front of the soundbar.  Surely there must be a way to turn that off!  There is. 4.51 - hence, 5 stars.

The sound is amazing. The way the speakers rotate and their overall shape helps bounce sound off the ceiling. My whole house shakes with the sub woofer.

This is amazing. It’s the best surround sound I’ve ever heard. Bass is crazy. Real true stupid sound out of all 4 speakers. It’s just an awesome set.
