Very happy with this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very pleased with this system. Have had it for about a month. System is connected to an LG C8 via ARC, various consoles (mostly used with PS5), Fire Stick 4K, echo dot, and Bluetooth/phone for music. I did not have the challenges some other reviewers did with setup. This thing paired to its subwoofer automatically, connected to the app/internet (though that is a bit of a process...) and updated itself without issue. It does not make a “popping” or any other sound when changing inputs. It does make a “whirring” noise when I turn it on/off and the Atmos speakers make an “electric motor” noise when they go up/down. Not loud or disruptive but audible. One quirk I have encountered (and this may very well be me not understanding how to change a setting) but thing shouts at me when changing the EQ - “MOVIE!” “GAME!” “MUSIC!” The dot sounds flat/hollow (not terrible but not great) but it’s cool to be able to talk to Alexa through surround and it’s also an early gen dot. Music is very decent - streaming Bluetooth sound has great range and it really fills the room. The Fire Stick sounds great and the Atmos speakers engaging automatically is a lot of fun. PS5 gaming sounds fantastic though I’ve found the best setup is actually linear pmc (via ps5 settings) as PS5 games do not seem to have Atmos support. Using the Atmos setting sounds good but it throws off the AV timing slightly. Where this thing REALLY impressed was when I watched Bladerunner 2049 on 4K Blu-ray on PS5 (which does support Atmos for Blu-ray... weird right?) I was concerned getting this sound-bar as the C8 does not support eARC but I have to say it sounds excellent. The bass is incredible, the voices and miss are clear, the surround is immersive, and this thing really punches during action scenes. If you’re in the market for an Atmos sound bar for $1k or less, I would 100% recommend this one.

I’m a fan now of Vizio
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried Bose 500 soundbar and honestly it lacks the power and sound so nothing to compare to this Vizio. It’s powerful and loud bass, you can hear in Atmos mode the different sounds from a movie plus I likes when the speakers goes up when they detect this mode. What makes this even better it’s that I got it for $699

Great sound bar

Good Unit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality for the price makes this unit worth it. I have it in my bedroom, which is approximately 400 sqft. The sound quality is amazing, though depending what’s on on occasion I don’t need the bass the subwoofer puts out so I may turn that down or even off. It’s easy to do through the app though.

Good but not great.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A good soundbar under $1k with easy setup. This soundbar has solid home theater sound, Atmos feature is not as convincing as i've hoped. Music play back is good but definitely not hifi. If you're not picky on detail of sound, this is a good choice. For the same money, if you have room, a tower 5.1.2 speaker system will provide a much better sound quality.

Vizio soundbars never disappoint!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid sound quality. Looks good and modern. Only negative is random pop noise when switching tv inputs.

Solid for the price.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm still playing around with the settings to try and get this just right, but for the most part it's pretty solid. I have a 7.2.2 dedicated home theater in the living room and used this to replace an older 36" vizio 5.1 soundbar. For the most part I was happy with the old one but it didn't support 4k HDMI or the sound formats I wanted. Idk how much the "atmos" works, but I definitely hear things I didn't hear before. Perhaps that's because of the newer HDMI board, more speakers or who knows... The sub sounded week at first and the surrounds crackled, but after re-pairing the sub, the thing tried to shake me out of bed. I like a lot of bass but has to turn it down quite a bit.

Nice sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. Great sound. Only issue is it keeps disconnecting. This is not a Visio issue so I didn’t take away rating. We have a Toshiba Fire TV and our cable provider remotes won’t sync so we have to use both remotes depending on what we are watching. The soundbar gets dropped frequently because of using both remotes.

Great Sound Bar
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this sound bar to connect to a Vizio 75 4k TV. The connection process was easy and allowed me to enjoy the 4k movies via streaming and the 4k player I have connected. Added a 4K Roku to it and the video and sound are awesome. The sound it provides is clear and the Atmos support is solid for the price. Plenty of other sound bars support Atmos but all are much more money. The bar is not light and at 48 inches it is wide, but it is worth it. The wires for the satelite speakes are significant and long enough for any environment.

Great, but not perfect.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sounding system with immersive surrounded sound and deep bass Easy setup and the app allows you to adjust all levels to get the sound just the way you like it. The backlit remote is also handy. Can't give 5 stars because connecting my Android via Bluetooth isn't reliable. I've had to power cycle the sound bar to get connected, which was unexpected from the flagship product.

Hardware sounds great with 2 HDMI ports
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When its working, its great! It took some time to get the firmware updated initially (the mobile app sat and spun many times, but I guess it updated in the background with no progress showing and it took about an hour). The hardware is great and really immersive! The mobile app is not the best and the settings take a few seconds to apply to the soundbar. There's a good variety of settings to apply and having a handful of EQs that are pretty spot on with minor tweaks is great! I've used an Xbox Series X plugged into a tv that uses pass through to the sound bar. The sound bar is plugged into an eARC port and everything works great! There is some sound blips with the Xbox Series X 4k at 120 Hz currently, but that will be fixed with an update to the Xbox in the near future. There are 2 HDMI ports in the sound bar. Not positive if they have some or any HDMI 2.1 features. I've read a few comments that they will support most of the HDMI 2.1 features, but may not have VRR. We'll see if an update comes out or additional technical specifications on them. Nintendo Switch and Amazon Fire TV 4k is plugged into the 2 HDMI ports in the sound bar and both work great. One minor issue I have seen is the Fire TV 4k will not turn on sometimes and I have to turn the TV off and then on again to get it working. Works most of the time, but not 100% of the time. Small annoyance. I think the sound bar may need another update to address that, but I have not found anything from Vizio if this is an issue. I got this soundbar at a great price during black friday. Full price may be a bit much and if a couple issues mentioned above are worked out, then it would be a great buy at its full price.

Dolby atmos is the best
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good sound bar. Great bass, although it can be a little to much sometimes. Needed some tweaks out of the box. Felt like i could barely hear the dialogue compared to the other sounds initially. Dolby atmos effects are awesome.

Terrific rival to the more expensive Sonos system
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredibly nice sound bar with Atmos, two surround speakers, and the sub really packs a punch. Super neat to see the speakers on the sound bar rotate upward when playing Atmos content. Great value for the price and easily rivals the Sonos Arc with surrounds and a subwoofer which costs between two and three times more depending on whether you can find the Elevate on sale.

Great Sound, some hiccups with multi-device setups
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and sound quality is clear. Haven't had any issues with sound from TV to Soundbar, but sometimes sound drops and needs to be "reset" in toggling my Vizio TV's audio settings when using my Playstation to Soundbar to eARC port on the TV.

Great sound, some issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good sound. Bought to see how it compared with 5.1.2 model. Not going to say this one isn't better but not $500 better. The upward firing speakers that rotate for ATMOS can be finicky. The remote is backlit which makes it better than the other model but you'll still need the app for proper setup. Also worried about when the rotating mechanisms wear out you'll have no upward firing speakers.

Good bang for the buck.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went with this as it was on a great Black Friday sale. To my surprise, this sounds great!! The surround Dolby quality is great. Sure there are probably better out there, but for the price, this has me shocked. The upward facing speakers that rotate can be a little gimmicky but that doesn’t deter me. The only thing that I can pick apart, I couldn’t get the words to match the mouth on some of the presets, after playing around a little I made it work but kind of annoying.

Great Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Soundbar for the price, includes rear speakers And all the cables you need to get set up quickly. Sound is great, crisp and clear and the subwoofer is pretty powerful. Only downside of this sound bar in my usage of it is that sometimes when you turn on the TV the sound bar fails to play sound even though it powers on with the tv.
