Excellent sound bar. Delivers quality far above its price range.

By far the best sound bar/surround sound I’ve ever had. I just use it for movies and watching sporting events.

Bottom line: Too good to be true. If this soundbar did everything it was advertised to do, it would be 5 stars easy. However, this soundbar suffers from constant handshake issues with CEC on Vizio P65QX-H1 and it does not stay connected to the Smartcast App. If these these problems are ever fixed via a software update, then I will adjust my rating. My biggest complaint is that the HDMI passthrough will not work correctly using Nvidia Shield Pro. The signal works upon first turning on the device, but then it it cuts out after about 15 seconds, and the signal is totally lost. I am also very dissappointed that the soundbar won't stay connected to the Smartcast app, because when it does connect this app makes tuning the soundbar much easier. Finally, there is a lag in audio when first starting content, so there will be a few seconds of video before the audio kicks in which is annoying. Not sure if this is due to Vizio cutting corners to recuce price (cheaper hardware). The good news is that when the soundbar isn't suffering from handshake issues, it actually produces really nice audio and Atmos surround. I have successfully tested Atmos via DD+ and Dolby TrueHD. This is the only reason I am keeping the soundbar and hoping for a software update that resolves the issues. Vizio, please fix the handshake problems and Smartcast app connection!

open box got it and 4-Year Geek Squad Protection for under 500 sounds better than I thought it would should I have done this years ago definitely wanna spend more time on my Xbox now and I'm sure my neighbors don't like it

The best sound bar I could ask for. The rotating speakers almost seemed like a gimmick until I realized the sound was actually bouncing off of my ceiling to create an extra soundscape.

Great Value for what you are getting. Bought specifically for our VIZIO OLED tv in our den. Was a headache free setup which was a plus. Nice upgrade from a 2017 Dolby 3.1 soundbar.

This sound bar is amazing and the upfiring speakers in the surrounds as well as in the bar makes for a truly immersive atmos experience! It was quick to setup and has been set and forget!

I was at Best Buy and I was looking for a great sound bar. I then kept playing all different ones till I heard the Jbl and this one. My choice came to this one because it was on sell and it sounds great.

It has dtx the turning speakers are different and has the extra 2 speakers if you want something really good and on your budget this is the item you needa puck up

Great sound at all levels!! Doesn't wimp out when you turn it down. Dolby surround is unbelievably crip and clear.

Sounds really good after adjusting the sound to my room. Having the rear speakers really adds to the surround field in my open concept room.

Got it in an "Open box condition" from the Best Buy store in Reno, NV. Hands down, the best sound system I have owned to date.

This system make you feel at the movie theater. The sound is amazing and very easy to put together.

I like the look, the rotating speakers are cool, and the sound, when working is perfect for me (I'm no audiophile). However, getting to sit and actually enjoy the sound is almost impossible. I have been using for a week and paired with a TCL 65Q825 and have encountered the following issues: 1. Flickering screen when watching xfinity with connection via earc (this was not an issue when I connected the xfinity xi6 box directly into one of the other HDMI inputs on the soundbar) 2. Fluctuating volume levels depending on what channel I'm watching (have to crank up almost to max in order to hear clearly 3. Low volume when using streaming apps like Netflix, Youtube, etc. Volume when watching Dolby Atmos content on Disney+ seemed to be okay 4. Loud crackling of speakers when I switched the audio settings on my TV to auto passthrough The first thing I did when I set up the soundbar was update the firmware. I did another check a couple of days ago and my firmware remains up to date. I am "upgrading" from an old LG soundbar, and while it doesn't sound as good and have very many features, it at least works! I am going to try and reach out to Vizio support and ask for help, but if I don't get anywhere, I'll be returning, which is unfortunate because I really want to love and keep this soundbar.

Great bang for the buck. Have a theater in the basement so I just wanted something super simple for the living room. This things bangs. Sub can rattle the floor and the clarity is Raju good for a sound bar.

Fantastic sound. Had and still have the JBL 9.1, was interested in this. Price drop, so I went and got it. The sound quality is great, much more midrange than my JBL. Soundquality just sounds better overall to me. Cons.. The Vizio mobile connect app to take advantage of some other features is a nightmare. It just will not connect and is totaly futile to get connected.

Love my Elevate. It has just the right sound features for surround sound. I have to normally keep the bass and subwoofer down in the apartment otherwise it will shake the windows.

This VISIO sound at is amazing, great sound & quality all around, highly recommend to anyone wanting a theatre sound at home!
