Yes, there is a sound bar, but this is really a full-blown sound system. I have a Bose system currently, and I intended to use this sound bar just to make it convenient to mount my TV above my fireplace. Now, after using this for a month for my TV as well as my music, I've decided that it is going to completely replace my Bose. Yes, it's that good!

This is an amazing sound bar. The sub is super powerful and the back speakers are great. However the only negative is that sometimes it doesn’t always turn on or the sound doesn’t work and requires me to play with the tv remote and sound bar remote to get it all working which becomes very annoying.

Love the Dolby atmos sound! It works great with all items that are setup for that 3D sound!

In the beginning it started well sounded great but the next day when I powered everything back on because I attend to disconnect everything because it uses power. I did contact customer support for Vizio products customer service was really really bad there was no sound coming out of the speaker anymore the app wasn't working everything was really really bad so I don't recommend this item to anybody so instead I decided to go with klipsch flexus 200 Soundbar nice i love it

Easy to install sounds great if it doesnt stop working like mine did after 20 days turned on plays for 5 minutes turns off and have to unplug to restart then turns off again, j was told by someone on the phone at the store ti bring it in and it would get exchanged but when i arrived at the store i was told that they can only exchange items within 24 days of purchase bery upsetting when i spent $1000 dollars on something i used less than the 20 days i had it for do to the fact im a truck driver and im not home everyday so this was very disappointing and upsetting due to the lack of information from the store on return/ exchange policy.

It's definitely an upgrade to the system I have. I particularly like the up-firing speakers. But I mainly bought it for Dolby Atmos / DTS-X. It's just what I was looking for. I'm sur there are better systems, but for the price, this is pretty great system, too.

Excellent for a great room 17'L x 18'W x 19'Tall! This system sounds fantastic, and quick to set up! The wireless internet connection and automatic software update was easy to use with an iPhone. The spoken feedback from the system makes the process very easy to understand.

Good sound system when on sale, has some bugs with powering on consistently and Vizio isn't great at fixing those. The biggest downside is the subwoofer, it's way to loud for a medium to small living room, even when you turn it down it can sound boomy if the room is to small.

Great sound addition to our bedroom. The surround sound is great.

This is a good product, the sound is intense for small/medium size rooms. The rear speakers do have a max level where they will start to show limitations of their compact size. This is probably too expensive at 999.00.
