Vizio products are great while they work. We bought this unit to replace our last, cheaper Vizio sound bar that junked out. Big mistake. Recently, this thing has been jumping to FULL volume randomly throughout the day. I looked up the issue online and it appears to be fairly common. Some people, though not even most, have had luck with a factory reset so I gave that a try. Four attempts later, I can't get the app to pair reliably and the subwoofer won't connect at all. I suppose if there's a silver lining it's that at least this unit didn't wait untill just after the warranty was up to show its defects. Now I get to make a call and jump through hoops for support. Always fun to find out you've bought yourself an expensive chore. Do yourself a favor; forget about saving money and save yourself a headache instead by buying another brand.

I have worked with audio equipment for more years than I care to remember. After a month still have not completed the installation of the bluetooth connection for upgrades. Bombed badly the first time leaving me with a soundbar repeatedly babbling some mysterious word. Required a total reset. Briefly thought it was going to have to go back to Best Buy. Finally got it working with Atmos UHD 4K BD player. Sounds is satisfying, though nowhere near my 7.1 receiver and speakers upstairs. As a result, the 3 star review. given the oppportunity for a redo, I would get a receiver and speakers…

Excellent soundbar with quality sound and easy to setup

This thing has been a game changer. The moving sound bars in it are great every time they move. A few little issues setting up my blu ray player to it but those were my own fault. The rear speakers crackle a little some times but nothing crazy.

I love it sounds like a 2000 system you can feel the sound

I bought an out of box Sony Z9f 2 weeks ago and while that bar was very good, i started to learn i coulf have a bit better for less money or the same range. And let me tell you, its better! 10x more bass and the rear speakers are louder! I am still playing with the settings but more than satisfied!

Has a great sound but wont always turn on or off with your tv, also dolby vision sounds wont always play unless you switch inputs

Fantastic soundbar and subwoofer! The sound is incredibly clear and bass from the subwoofer makes it feel like you are in a club while playing music or in a theater watching a movie. Wonderful Quality and Sound for the Price paid. Highly recommend!

I've tried all sorts of soundbars on the high and low end price wise. Sure, there are better ones, but for the cost of not burning a whole in your wallet, this thing is astounding and truly takes over the room!!!

This has some of the best EQ but you need the app. Great movie sound will definitely rattle the house. Absolutely love it. Software is buggy doesn’t always turn off or on.

So far so good ! Purchased this when I had to take back my different Vizio model because it wouldn’t function right . But this model is definetly the top tier for Vizio haven’t had the chance to truly experience the capability of it yet !

This is system is great. Took a minute to set-up and make it communicate with my Vizio TV. Once it was set-up correctly, it took me about a week to dial in all the setting for my sound environment, As other have said the bass can be over powering is not set-up correctly.

Have had this soundbar for a few weeks now and am mostly happy with the sound. The bass (subwoofer) can sometimes be overwhelming even when dialed back; and the height speakers are mostly underwhelming. Music sound is outstanding, along with regular TV and movies. Problems include soundbar Power function stops working occasionally, requiring soft reboot to get working again. LED status system is not user friendly or informative. The Smartcast Mobile application has good functionality for operation of the SB, but does not always work fully. My support experience to date has been ineffective and product documentation/specification insufficient.

So I watch alot of movies and I did my research and this product was hands down the best If you wanna feel like you're at a movie theater this would be the best product for you I recommend this product to all my friends
