I really like the concept but it just doesn't sound good to me. I try to adjust the settings in the app and they don't "take" 50% of the time. There are sliders for center channel level with a number at the side for example. The slider and number should match but they often don't - and the soundbar itself may be at a different level entirely. I could live with this if I liked the sound but the front speakers and the subwoofer sound detached - which they are of course. There is no option to move the sub closer to the mains because the sub drives the surrounds. My guess is this design keeps the cost down because the sub amp can drive the surrounds as well. Not for me.

The supplied remote also provides set-up adjustments for Center-channel, Surround and Subwoofer levels along with the full suite of adjustment options.
Depending on the particular room, the VIZIO Elevate level settings may need to be adjusted to provide a balanced immersive experience. The most common adjustment necessary is to reduce the subwoofer and surround volume. The volume of the both of these are greatly affected by how close they are to the listener compared to the bar. In addition, the subwoofer is affected by the size of the room along with the texture of the wall and floor coverings. In this case, the subwoofer appears to be too loud and too much of the male vocals and dialogue are audible. Adjusting the subwoofer downward will smooth out the crossover point (the point where the sound bar hands off the signal to the subwoofer) and optimize the performance for your space, locking the center channel back up front.

After a month still have not completed the installation of the bluetooth connection for upgrades. Bombed badly the first time leaving me with a soundbar repeatedly babbling some mysterious word. Required a total reset. Briefly thought it was going to have to go back to Best Buy. Finally got it working with Atmos UHD 4K BD player. Sounds is satisfying, though nowhere near my 7.1 receiver and speakers upstairs. As a result, the 3 star review. given the oppportunity for a redo, I would get a receiver and speakers…

The moving sound bars in it are great every time they move. A few little issues setting up my blu ray player to it but those were my own fault. The rear speakers crackle a little some times but nothing crazy.

And let me tell you, its better! 10x more bass and the rear speakers are louder! I am still playing with the settings but more than satisfied!

Purchased this when I had to take back my different Vizio model because it wouldn’t function right . But this model is definetly the top tier for Vizio haven’t had the chance to truly experience the capability of it yet !

Took a minute to set-up and make it communicate with my Vizio TV. Once it was set-up correctly, it took me about a week to dial in all the setting for my sound environment, As other have said the bass can be over powering is not set-up correctly.
