Wait for it to be on sale or version 2.0
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely not worth $999. At that price, I'll buy something else (probably Sonos). But it was $600. At that price I would recommend it (and have kept it). At $999 I returned mine. In what seems to be a common trend in software (Cyberpunk 2077?) they put it on the market before it was ready. Drivers and app are too buggy, motors were grinding, and the plastic looks/feels cheap.

Sound Quality is Very Poor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high hopes for this soundbar but it just falls short on audio performance. The speakers sound very tinny and the subwoofer is just not good. The frequency of the subwoofer is too high so you can very clearly discern where the sound is coming from, I think it is just not big/strong enough. When people are talking you hear half the voice from the center channel and the low frequencies clearly are coming from the direction of the subwoofer. I ended up returning it and going with the Samsung Q950T, it is definitely more expensive but WOW! The difference is night and day, it was almost painful to listen to the vizio elevate but the sound out of the Samsung Q950T is simply incredible in comparison. I have an old vizio $250 5.1 Soundbar on my other TV that sounds better than this one so I'm not sure what went wrong here. Don't bother with this soundbar as it just isn't up to par on sound quality.

Terrible Customer Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered a Vizio Elevate sound system. It arrived defective. One of the surround sound rear speakers crackled. I called the support number and they were extremely ineffective, wanted to pass it off, and all around terrible to deal with. I was informed the product was no longer available at the location where it was purchased from, then she tried to tell me to return the item to the store for an exchange. How would they exchange it if it’s not a available at the location?!? I asked to speak to a supervisor. She said there wasn’t one available. I was already 45 minutes into the phone conversation so I said I would wait. She came back on the line and said the supervisor was now available, this was within minutes. She said she would transfer me shortly. After a few more minutes on hold, where I could hear her talking, the line suddenly disconnected. There is no doubt in my mind this was intentional. I tried calling my nearest store directly and received a message saying they had a high call volume then it disconnected.

Sound-bar disconnects from the subwoofer regularly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this system for a month now, and most of the time the sound-bar disconnects from the subwoofer which is very annoying, you want to imagine the frustration when the subwoofer and the two back speakers have to be flipping on and off in the middle of a movie or music i need help.
