Fantastic Budget 5.1.2!
|Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Vizio sound bar had everything i needed for my setup. I specifically bought this one due to the fact that it has a 3.5mm jack, whoch would connect directly to my turntable. It also has great sound quality and decent performance with Dolby Atmos. Great purchase!

Best addition to my Vizio M series TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.worked perfectly straight out of the box. Very easy to setup with my M series vizio tv. I like very much being able to control the volume with the tv remote or my providers set top box remote. The sound quality is excellent, plenty of bass from the sub. Would be nice if vizio could supply under tv mounting brackets.

Such an improvement
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had a 2-1 speaker for our large flatscreen and it muddied up the sound and the music was always too loud on tv shows. This one cleaned all that up and it is much easier to change the sound with the display and audio announcements

Vizio 5.1 Dolby Atmos
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.three time reviewer - A 5.1 system with true Dolby Atmos inside $300? Buy it every time. Have had a great time with this sound system, however, toggling different modes with different inputs can sometimes be tricky.

Great Surround System For The Money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When looking for a low cost 5.1 Atmos system, This Vizio M series is always mentioned top of the list. Setup was easy, sound is great, and the cost is way less than the way this system performs.

Great value
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the wireless subwoofer/speakers. Surround sound is pretty good. Speakers are small but powerful and look nice mounted on the wall. Remote display is simple and convenient for changing settings. Great value for surround system.

Good sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound is powerful enough for an average living room, and 5.1 capabilities are very good, system has several settings that can be controlled by the included remote. It pairs easily to a TV, currently my only problem with this particular unit is, a very long lag 10 sec. in connecting to the TV on startup. My previous Vizio unit, which was not e-arc capable, didn’t have this issue!

Good, not great.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great, easy to set up. I also have a brand new M Vizio and the seem to be buggy working together. Not sure if it's the TV or the bar. Nothing severe, just occasionally buggy. I'll update firmware and hopefully that helps.

Excellent Sound Quality w/ Some Technical Hiccups
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality for the price is excellent. Only loses a start because the HDMI handshake can be inconsistent at time and required power cycling to get it to register the HDMI signal. For the record, I've had 2 of these soundbars and the same issue persisted with both. The firmware update greatly improved this issue but didn't 100% eliminate it. Honeslty though its just a minor grip when starting up the system, you sometimes have to power cycle the soundbar. I have never had it cut out in the middle of a show or movie. Outside of that I don't think you will find better sound quality with Dolby Atmos support at this price point.

Great budget home theater with Dolby Atmos!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price this is an excellent home theater system! Sounds great with games and movies! It also gives a lot of options for customizing the sound! Oh and it has Dolby Atmos! I definitely recommend! Also one of the few soundbars under $500 with eARC technology!

Great Atmos Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought two of these. One was to replace a much more expensive sound bar that had worn out. The other was for a new TV. This is an amazing soundbar for its price. Really exceptional sound, especially using Atomos

Very Impressive!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m an audio snob and this sound-bar is VERY impressive. We got it for my boyfriends living room and we both love it. The clarity, sound quality and price make it the best bang for your buck for the price point. Round of applause, Vizio!

Great soundbar for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Given the low price that I paid at the time of purchase - an Open-Box Satisfactory item from Best Buy in May 2022 for $213.99 where the item turned out to be just like new except for the fact that the cardboard packaging that the product comes in had several large rips and tears in it - combined with this product's features (Dolby Atmos, wireless sub + rear satellite speakers, etc.), I certainly feel like I got my money's worth for this soundbar model from Vizio. However, one thing that consistently bothers me (that I don't *think* the review on this site ever mentioned) about this soundbar is that - especially at low volume levels - sound effects such as breaking glass, gunshots, crashes, screams, etc. (from movies or TV content) are **much** louder than the dialogue is. I'm using the most recently released (January of 2023) version of the firmware from Vizio (2.1.0.4), and I've tried dozens of possible sound settings combinations to compensate for this issue (to no avail), such as increasing and/or decreasing the levels of the various channels (Dialogue, Center, Subwoofer, and Surround) for each of the "EQ" modes (Movie, Music, Direct, and Game), with each of the 4 "Effect" modes (Surround Sound, DTS TruVolume, DTS Virtual:X, and Night Mode) both enabled and disabled. One other issue with this soundbar that stands out is the lack of granular volume amplitude control, which is more pronounced at lower volume levels (which can be especially frustrating while watching content late at night); the amplitude change per unit volume change does not seem to be linear as one increases the volume from level 0 upwards, with the incremental change in amplitude per step much larger at lower volume levels. On a positive note, though, this soundbar system can play sound at *very* loud volume levels (96.7 dB SPL) with very little decrease in sound quality.

Great buy
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as expected. Great sounds and features. I got it on a open box deal and save a hundred dollars. Still would have been a great buy at the normal price. After researching this is the best value for a surround sound system

Good value surround system.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is great. You do get some of the 3d surround effect. Connectivity could be a little easier. But setup is easy and it’s nice having the wires routed to the subwoofer in my opinion.
