No Regrets
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent Soundbar for the money....load enough for my very large room with cathedral ceilings....the surround and atmos is good and probably would work great in a smaller space too. I only wish the satellites didnt need to connect into the subwoofer...

Great Entry Level Sound System
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This might sound odd, I bought this sound bar and speakers for my bedroom. I had a Samsung sound bar and wireless subwoofer that was under my bed but I upgraded tvs and wanted something that had HDMI eARC so I could use my Apple TV remote to control the volume as well. Needless to say, everything worked right out of the box. The remote is a little tricky to use when it comes to adjusting the sound but it’s east to get used to. My Samsung subwoofer did have deeper bass, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Plus, the extra speakers do make a really big difference going from a 2.1 to a 5.1 channel sound system. If you’re looking for an entry level sound system to graduate from tv speakers or just a solo sound bar, this is a great one to begin with.

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the sound and how I can use my vizio tv remove to control it. I did have some trouble getting it set up. I think there needs to be better instructions on how to use the features and remote.

Better than LG
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system beat out the LG system we had. We haven’t had any loss of sound or base like we did with the LG. Sound comes out clear and loud. Music sounds awesome. For a sound bar I would highly recommend this Vizio unit.

Great system, very happy.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arguably one of the cheapest 5.1 systems available, but it doesn’t act like it. I was skeptical bc I hate cheap sounding speakers, and not a huge fan of wireless audio, but this system did not disappoint. I worked broadcast television AV for 4years and specialized in low level analog signals for roughly 7. If you want a basic system that still has some functionality in the settings, this set is nice. And it surprisingly bumps enough to where you could probably pis* off the neighbors without distorting the audio and bass. I later tried wiring the rear outputs to my ceiling speakers and it worked flawlessly. Go for it.

Vizio soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vizio sound-bar is a great accessory to my vizio tv. They complement each other. I like the skinny size that it can be placed behind my tv without special tv mounting. It’s a very good product that i recommend others to purchase.

Exciting Surround Sound
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After almost 20 years I sought to replace a Pioneer HT 500W surround sound system. After much research and having a VIZIO TV, I purchased the VIZIO - 5.1-Channel V-Series Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Audio 5.1/DTS Virtual:X. I experimented for about 1 month but it was not up to par with what I need. It didn’t carry the true power pack sound effect. I returned it for this M-Series and have fallen in love with it. Honestly, it cannot match the legacy Pioneer System (which yes, had much wires and bulk) but the family and I is enjoying it. I’m using the rear surround sound setup plus I bought 2 low budget stands for the rear speakers. Simply learn the setup and settings (nothing complicated) and you’re good to go. I would recommend to anyone interested in buying.

The perfect compromise.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was considering purchasing the 5.1.2 Elevate series because of multiple eArc inputs as well as Dolby Atmos with up-facing speakers. But felt like it might be overkill, especially with the price. The 5.1 M-Series was the perfect compromise. Only downside is it only has 1 eArc input, but that really isn't something I NEEDED. It doesn't have the up-facing speakers, but it really doesn't need them. It's sleek looking, fits right under the TV. The Bluetooth subwoofer packs a nice punch for it's size and the rear speakers have super long wiring allowing you to really set them up where they'll have the most impact. Really happy with this purchase. *Customizing sound levels is a bit of work with the remote, but once they're set you can go to your TV remote to control volume.

Great sound. Easy to Install
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound. Would be better if it allowed multiple bluetooth devices to connect so you don't have to set up a new one each time. Setup was super easy and the quality of the sound is great.

Surprising good sound compared to 7.1 receiver
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds quite nice. I had a full 7.1 system previously, but downsized. As much as I hate to admit it, this system sounds better to my ears. I miss the customization, but it's pretty good out of the box. The bluetooth connection is a bit of a pain, and I wish it natively supported Spotify like so many systems have for years. But those are small complaints. The sound itself is very good.

Best purchase ever ❤
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good sound for soundbar system. Dolby atmos comes alive when watching movies on xbox 1 , vudu. Netflix and hbomax sound output is dolby digital due to software limitations. My room was 10 x 15 room for max efficiency.

Higher end, lower price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent system for the price. Works very well in a smaller living room space, and works nicely with a 4K Vizio TV. One thing to keep in mind is that the device is not wifi capable.

Sounds very good but subwoofer/surrounds cut out.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought this two days ago so this is my initial impressions. For reference, I also have a Vizio M512a-H6 on another TV. This one is the M51ax-J6. I didn't want to spend $500 for another M512a-H6 so I figured this one would be perfect for a second TV. The good -- It sounds great, not as immersive as the M512a-H6 but I expected that since it doesn't have upfiring speakers for better Atmos performance. But for a second TV in a small room it sounds excellent. Setup was relatively easy, even with my very tempermental TCL tv that doesn't get along well with most soundbars. The subwoofer has more than enough bass for a small room but it can also depend on where you place it in the room. You will get the best response by placing it in a corner or against a wall. For a large room it would be a bit small. Now the reason I didn't give it 5 stars. The subwoofer (and surrounds) cuts in and out for 2 or 3 seconds every once in a while. The way it's designed with the surround speakers connecting to the subwoofer, unless you want to run very long speaker wires (the ones provided are maybe 20' so not all that long) from the front of the room to the back of the room, you can't really place the sub very close to the soundbar unless you put the surround speakers in the front of the room which kind of defeats the purpose of having a 5.1 system, or unless you have a very small room and can run the wires from the front to the back of the room. No easy way to do that in my room. Even so, the subwoofer is maybe 12' from the soundbar, so not that far away, and it still cuts out a lot. At this point I'm not sure if I'll return it or not but it's very frustrating watching movies or TV with the subwoofer and surrounds cutting out several times during the movie. Will do some more troubleshooting between now and the end of the return period to see if I can get it working right.
