The sound quality is a very nice upgrade from the standard speakers on my lg tv. Although if you are looking for something with a lot of bass this is not one the speaker setup for you. Even with the bass settings turned up it is still quiet. I tested it with the fallout 4 main menu which has a ton of bass playing.

The rear speakers are wired to the subwoofer, which is less than ideal, They can be difficult to place because of this. Although at this price point, acceptable. Good item.
