5.1 Surround sound with minimal wires

The subwoofer was placed 20' away from the Soundbar and it synced up immediately. The satellite speakers were mounted on a pair of speaker stands that I purchased separately. I have an optical connection going from my tv to this unit. Build quality is great. The subwoofer is not as strong as I would like, perhaps because of the large open space in my home. BB pricematched Amazon at the time of my purchase which made this item an excellent buy.

I personally don't feel like you can call it a surround sound without rear speakers, so when looking it was hard to find a sound bar with rear speakers....it really limited the selection. I am so glad we chose this system though, the bass is amazing, shakes the whole house. If your not tech savvy I would recommend having someone who is set it up for you.
