Even produces 5.1 sound from my 13 year old Samsung TV. (Given a good source such as Netflix movies). Greatly improves dialogue understandability when set properly. It is difficult to set the volume of the rear speakers properly when they are located much closer to your seating position than the front speakers

He loves it we watch a lot of movies and he is a gamer! Easy set-up it literally took him less than 30 minutes to get everything working! He was even happy it came with wall mounts for the speakers! Got this on sale also so win,win! He loved it! might see some sparkly jewelry in my near future! Lol!

Great for $150-200, blows everything else away.

The colors and picture quality are amazing. The on TV sound is quite good and I wish I knew before buying a sound bar to go with it. Google TV is a nice upgrade over Roku although it doesnt have a Spectrum app.

Small Sub, Big Sound

The sub is small, but packs a large punch. The different EQ settings, Talk-back, and illuminated display on the remote are great upgrades to the older model. Music, and Movie EQ are the best way to listen. Vizio did a great job with this one.

Someone could say why not better or more expensive? This system gives you a stand-alone subwoofer that connects two smaller speakers without a wire to the soundbar. I'm happy with my purchase for a beginner like me that is conservative.

Fatal flaws and awful support

The rear speakers and sub drop out consistently and they claimed to have fixed it with firmware update 1.1.0.7 but after that update and several calls with Vizio support, I’ve yet to be given a solution. When I say “drops out”, I mean every 5-10 seconds or some similar amount of time. Not once a week or for a millisecond during a show on a certain device, I mean *constantly*. AppleTV, PS4, multiple HDMI cables vis ARC, all of it is intolerable. Also, Vizio support went through a ton of steps the first time, I thought it fixed it, and thirty minutes later the problem resumed. The second time they said if the call got dropped, they’d call me back (as if they knew the call center was an issue) and I did get dropped. They called back ten minutes later, said they’d try to connect me to the original agent who went through all the technical troubleshooting steps (that didn’t work) from the call a week or two earlier, then the call dropped again. She called back *again*, apologized for the call drop, and transferred me which promptly sent me to the main menu with no recourse. Absolutely frustrating attempts again and again at even beginning to address the technical issue which never got there. To be totally honest, the sound is awesome. The installation/setup is super easy. The remote had a bunch if little tweaks available for settings that make it enjoyable. But it simply does not do the one thing you are paying for it to do which is deliver sound from your devices, uninterrupted. It’s a very pretty cup but it has a hole in the bottom. I hate being extreme on reviews in terms of rating but it is on-star because it doesn’t work, would be five-stars if they could sort this technical issue out.
