Great sounds for a small room

Excellent sound for such a small package and for $200 (on sale) it is by far the best low budget 5.1. Sound bar. It has great mids and highs and separation of the center and left/ right speakers, rear speakers sound good and accurate for 5.1 surround. Sub is small but packs a nice punch. I personal like that the sub is wireless and the that the rear speakers plug into the sub. I placed the sub opposite of the TV with the rear speakers ear level on either side of the couch. There are plenty of option for placement of speakers. The remote really impressed me with all the different options available and led screen to control all levels of the speakers and quick eq settings for music, movie, or gaming. Watching a movie select movie and your in for a great surround experience. Gaming select gaming and it definitely makes a huge difference for the surround. Night mode is a quick option to turn off the subwoofer while watching at night and people are sleeping. Keep in mind this is a small speaker set up i would recommend for rooms that are no bigger than 14x14. ** This is not intended for large rooms you will want to upgrade to the higher end systems for medium to large rooms.

Picked this up for $200 during Black Friday and couldn’t be happier. I went 10 years without a sound bar because I always felt the “good ones” were too expensive and the lower tier ones weren’t worth the money. This is definitely a midrange, but packs a major punch. The subwoofer’s bass is solid and the speaker sound has a pleasing softness to it. I’m normally pretty picky about my audio, which is why I could never pull the trigger on sound bars before, and this one exceeded my expectations. My plan is to eventually upgrade in 2-3 years when HDMI 2.1 is more available and hopefully cheaper so I can maximize the audio from the Xbox Series X but I’ll gladly move this set up to another room and enjoy it in a different space. I’ve only had it 10 days, but between the video games, movies, and music I’ve played on it, I feel like I’ve gotten a well-rounded experience and I could only imagine any issues I would have at this point would be related to technical flaws which haven’t been an issue. Bonus: it’s easy to set up.

I would definitely buy the Vizio 5.1 Sound bar with speakers again, It sounds great easy to set up, speakers gave a very long wire to spread them apart. Remote lets you select the sound you want, for music, movies, dialog, etc, It also allows you to select the bass tone, and has an Equalizer. Great sound and easy setup nothing more to ask for.

The soundbar imitates the left and right tv speaker. The subwoofer and 2 extra speakers complete the 5.1 surround. My favorite part is the ease of control through the remote. If I get too complacent with the soundscape in my living room, I can easily manipulate the volume of each sound level. The bass, treble, subwoofer, surround speakers, dialogue or surround balance. You can also place the speakers anywhere in room for varying experiences

I am very impressed with this soundbar system. It was easy to set up and install, and it works perfectly with my TV. The sound quality is amazing, with clear dialogue, immersive surround sound, and deep bass. The wireless subwoofer and the satellite speakers create a realistic sound stage that fills the room. The Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X technologies enhance the audio experience even more. I love the sleek design and the remote control of the soundbar. This is a great product for anyone who wants to enjoy a cinematic sound at home.

I was happy with the easy setup. There is options on how you want to connect. The opti is best! The wireless is an upgrade for my old set up. The sound bar does put out well! The bass is nice. The blue tooth connects well. The back speakers would be nicer if it came out louder. I do have to put the volume up a good amount to get it sounding good. It works good overall!

Just picked up and installed this sound bar yesterday. Everything came very organized and Vizio even supplies you with the wall mounts and screws. Setting up the sound bar and components was very simple and quick (only taking about 5 minutes once everything was mounted). All components synched instantly and Bluetooth was immediately ready to be paired. Sound quality is great as well, the two rear speakers really makes it seem like the audio is coming from all directions. Subwoofer has plenty of bass and remote makes it very easy to dial in all settings and effects. If you’re looking to get a sound bar w/subwoofer for under $300, I would recommend looking into this one.

Great sound, pretty sure it's oversized for our tiny living room. You wanna hear the TV real good with all the background noises immersed into the experience, this is a the soundbar for you. The cables for the speakers are very long, and they mounting stuff is really easy. We set funko pops on the small speakers, the mounting is holding them up fine, they are about half the height and same width as a funko pop box. Bass is very present, we turned it down a bit. My husband loves it, I'm overstimulated.

If you are looking for a budget-friendly way to upgrade your TV sound, the VIZIO - 5.1-Channel V-Series Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Audio 5.1/DTS Virtual:X might be a good option for you. This soundbar system comes with a slim and sleek soundbar, a wireless subwoofer, and two satellite speakers that can create a surround sound effect. The soundbar has a neutral and balanced sound profile that can handle different types of audio content, from dialogue-heavy movies to music and games. The subwoofer adds some extra punch and rumble to the bass, while the satellite speakers enhance the spatial and directional cues. The soundbar also supports Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X, which can simulate a more immersive and realistic soundstage. The soundbar is easy to set up and use, as it has a simple and intuitive remote control, a clear LED display, and multiple connectivity options. You can connect the soundbar to your TV via HDMI ARC, optical audio, or Bluetooth, and you can also use the 3.5mm aux input to connect your phone, tablet, or smart speaker. The soundbar has a low-profile design that can fit under most TVs without blocking the IR sensor, and the wireless subwoofer and satellite speakers can be placed anywhere in your room without worrying about cables. The soundbar is not without its flaws, however. The surround speakers are not very powerful and can sound a bit thin and tinny. The soundbar also has a flat soundstage that does not create a lot of depth or width. The soundbar can also experience some audio delay when resuming a TV show or movie, which can be annoying. The soundbar also lacks some advanced features that are available in more expensive models, such as a dedicated center channel, an EQ, or a night mode. Overall, the VIZIO - 5.1-Channel V-Series Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Audio 5.1/DTS Virtual:X is a decent soundbar system that offers a lot of value for its price. It can improve your TV sound and create a surround sound effect with minimal hassle and cost. It may not be the most impressive or immersive soundbar on the market, but it can still deliver a satisfying and enjoyable listening experience.

This set of speakers sound really good. I love the assistant aux connection and the compact look of these. The sound quality is impressive, with clear highs and punchy bass. The assistant aux connection makes it easy to connect any device and enjoy your favorite music. Additionally, the compact look of these speakers makes them ideal for any space, whether it's your living room or a small office. They blend seamlessly into any decor and provide an immersive audio experience. In conclusion, these speakers offer a winning combination of great sound, convenient connectivity, and stylish design.

I seriously thought we'd be returning it the same day we bought it, I didn't think it was big enough to work well. But, I liked the price and that it is 5.1 so we figured to give it a try in our regular sized bedroom. Right off the bat, you could hear the difference. It had nice bass for such a small driver, the surround sounded good, and was able to actually hear the dialog much better. Within 5 minutes of fiddling with the levels, it sounded even better. When the TV gets to about 3/4 now, it is loud...very loud. But the best part is when we leave the room the bass immediately drops off, we are not offending the rest of the house like our main stereo does (amped dual 15'' towers+surround). My one gripe, the interface. I have it installed on my ARC channel and was kind of expecting a visual menu on the TV to set it up...that's not the case here. The remote has a tiny LCD screen that will say something like BASS and you hit the left/right arrows to change levels with a vague indicator to where u have it set. I found it better to ignore the indicator and do it by ear. I think if you lost the remote, you'd be forced to buy a new one if you wanted to change settings.

Best value for the money out there right now, just don't expect a full fledged ATMOS experience (which you shouldn't for $200 anyways). Sounds great, good bass, looks like a soundbar, compact sub is easy to find room for. Works fine with Samsung TV via HDMI ARC. Really customizable, can definitely hone your tone. Don't need to though, just hook it up, put it on the "movie" EQ, adjust the sub level to what you like, then enjoy. I had to do a factory reset on the TV to get the power on/off function to work, but that's the TV's fault for sure. Other than that the only difficulty was finding good placement for the satellite speakers. Settled on a wide stereo setup that's sounding excellent on all sources. This is aging tech at its finest, get one while they're cheap and still available.

We bought this to replace a Vizio 2.1 sound bar that we purchased several years ago. The screen on the remote for this system is a huge improvement from the 2.1 sound bar way of adjusting the settings using LED lights on the bar. This bar has some nice features such as the night mode which lowers the bass to help quiet it for sleeping children/apartment living. I think you get pretty good surround sound via the satellite speakers which we just have on our nightstands. I'm no audiophile but this was a good purchase for providing better volume than just the speakers on our TV (also a Vizio). You are able to integrate the remote to control the TV volume with the sound bar remote or keep them separate as you prefer. I think just using the sound bar and leaving the TV volume off provides much better effect than using both but the option is there if you prefer. We are very happy with this purchase and can't find fault with it so far.

So it is great… but great for small living room or on a tight budget. In my case, I had both criteria’s. The voice and general sound isn’t like say the Roku Pro soundbar, however with the right tweaking the voice clarity is great, just not super rich. Bass I give 5 Stars as well as the surround sound speakers. They are definitely more than I expected and playing music with the Bluetooth is amazing! I got this system on sale and price matched for $160 so for the money it is worth it. But if you are looking for something a little more rich sound then I would recommend the Roku Soundbar Pro. You just have to buy all the other speaker modules separately or when you have the money.

We wanted something that delivered an intense theatrical sound. This was easy set up has a sound bar, two separate mountable speakers for behind couch or really anywhere and a subwoofer that if placed behind or under couch really delivers an inetense feeling of being in the movie! If your a member youll save 50 which is awesome! We are happy ,my dogs arent sure what to think haha. Play the exorcist for fun !

I purchased this system for my basement. There wasn’t a need for a high end system, so after I listened to the display at the store it seemed like a suitable option. Fast forward to getting everything connected at home - this system is legit (at least for my needs). Deep bass comes from the subwoofer and the sound bar provides clarity in the mid range. I wish the satellite speakers had more impactful adjustment options (volume up/down based on speaker distance)… other than that - you can’t beat the value of this system.

I've had this system for a few weeks now. I don't have the most trained ear in the world, but for the price, it's a really nice deal. As some others have said, probably better for a normal-sized living room than as a large man cave system. The sub was smaller than the one in my old Samsung system, but honestly has deeper, better bass. 2nd best part for me was how it easy it was to set up. Was pretty surprised when I plugged the HDMI cable from the soundbar into my Samsung TV. It recognized the whole system including the satellite speakers and sub without having to do a thing! I have no problems recommending this system.

For being a budget brand this is one impressive system. The richness, clarity, and base are more than enough for most average viewers. Connectivity is great with a Bluetooth connection for music and a remote control that has a small screen to make it easy to navigate the various features and EQ. Installing is easy as well because the sub is wireless to the soundbar while the surround speakers wire to the sub. The cables for the surround speakers are a decent length and come color coded and terminated which was a huge plus over other systems. I set this up in my bedroom through ARC on my tv and I love it for video games, movies, and music. Also, it gets very loud. Only downside I can think of is the build of the speaker housings. They’re light and the covers are fabric so if your not careful they rip. But everything is pretty solid with no rattling or creaking. Be careful and you’ll have no problems because they shouldn’t be moved often or in anyone’s way.
