Overall I'm really enjoying the Vizio surround sound. I gave it 4 stars but I would have said 4.5 if I could. It's not perfect but it's really good. The sound is beautiful, it's easy to use and set up is very quick. There are some things to keep in mind like keeping the subwoofer in sight of the sound bar or the sound might skip because the bluetooth technology can't go through a table. This has happened a couple of times but then I found a good set up and it's been fine ever since. It took me some time to find the perfect sound from the speakers - it took time to mess with the settings of the bass, treble, and other EQs before I found it so be prepared to play around with it. Overall, it's a great system.

I bought this to pair with my fancy new Samsung QD-OLED TV and it has added a lot having surround sound along with breath taking visuals. Many games and movies and even Youtube videos have surround sound that really adds to the experience. It was simple to setup and was all I needed for a small living space (apartment). the provided wiring was plenty for setting up the speakers and sub woofer and having the sound bar itself be wireless made it all so easy to setup and conceal. Like anything, wait for a really good sale. I got mine for $170 with a Total Tech membership.

I had this in my home office for over a year, to make it easier to hear my tv from my desk without blasting sound throughout the entire house. So impressed with the sound quality that I got another for the master bedroom. It's the full sound we've been missing from our 70". Honestly, I can't really watch a television now without some sort of surround system attached. And these Vizio kits are easy to setup, take up very little space, and offer big sound. I did have to buy a set of stands for the two surround speakers, but worth it to avoid drilling into my walls.

The soundbar sounds great, I get really good lows with the subwoofer, and I am satisfied with the overall volume it reaches, it can get very loud. I went through several (and I mean several) reviews, articles online and YouTube videos to decide on a soundbar that wasn't going to be disappointing, I finally decided to go with this Vizio because I felt the price was good, it had good reviews and also considering I live in a small apartment, therefore, my living room is really tiny.

Bought online after looking at display at store a few times. Arrived a day early. Took longer to get it out of box than to get it working. Hooked itself up to the Woofer and 2 rear speakers and i didn't have to do anything, Wish i could get some base out of the woofer, JUST KIDDING JUST KIDDING Deep Deep thumping base, have to turn it down a little, to much all the way up for all the time. My curtains are moving behind the woofer port. Figured out the remote by trial and error or go online to a video, manual is included,

Awesome sounding 5.1 surround system sound bar from Vizio. I was shopping & researching for a few weeks on what sound bar to pair with my brand new Sony x900h. Also didn’t want to spend a fortune because in a year or so will upgrade to an Atmos system. This fits the bill with flying colors. We updated from an old 5.1 system with cables going everywhere. This system almost set itself up once I plugged the hdmi cable into my eARC hdmi port on my TV. It all works flawlessly no matter what content we are watching. Samsung 4k Blu-ray player, PS5, internal TV apps, etc. I love the fact that you can raise or lower the volume to the rear sub & speakers. I’m able to use my TV’s remote to control the sound bars volume. It all works flawlessly!!

Overall this is a great looking and sounding system for the price. I was a little apprehensive about replacing my HQ 4-speaker + receiver audio setup with a soundbar but this system has impressed me. It has plenty of power for a basic living room and doesn't take up a lot of space. The soundbar itself is pretty crisp and loud enough -- it won't give you the true wide stereo sound you might get from separate speakers but it's good enough, once you get used to a narrower stereo sound. The subwoofer puts out a ton of bass, I actually had to set it to the lowest setting. The surround speakers are nice and low profile while still providing decent output. The bluetooth is great!

Got this soundbar system last year November 26th. VIZIO - 5.1-Channel V-Series Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Audio 5.1/DTS Virtual:X - Black. And one year in amd it is still incredible. Audio is clear and the bass is ridiculous. The price this I believe is even lower by about 30 or 50 bucks. It is a must have for small to midsize rooms maybe even large. But a great system. All the necessary audio inputs and output connections that are needed. The HDMI eArc is very useful with the smart tv. A must buy.

The sound is incredible. I played a dolby test from youtube. The surround sound was amazing, crisp, clear and the small bass box literally felt like we were in a theater.. only we had it on a wood floor and our seats vibrated. Amazing. It was so easy to put together we really didnt need the instructions. We didnt even use the hdmi port. However using the hdmi port gives even more features. Although the bass and the speakers are wired to each other, they are not wired to the sound bar. The bass connects wirelessly to the soundbar. There is enough length to fit in a large room. I highly reccommend.

This system surprised me a lot. I tried out a few bars at the store and the sound was crisp and clear at the display. When I installed it in my room (15ftx15ft), it filled the room and wasn't distorted at all. Being a tech nut, I enjoyed the customization options available for the soundscape. The subwoofer looks tiny but boy does it deliver the BASS. I connected to the Soundbar via Blutooth and install couldn't have been any easier. The Subwoofer is wireless (no need to connect to the Main Bar) so placement was a breeze. The 2 rear speakers connect to the sub and have plenty of cable for various configurations. Best DEAL during the Black Friday sales. Waiting for another sale to buy another.

Let me start by saying I'm not a home theater enthusiast or anything like that. This is my first surround sound system. This has been a game changer for me. I never see myself not having surround sound for my tvs from now on. Setup was easy. Sound quality is great... at medium and high volumes. The only complaint is that at REALLY low/quiet volumes, the left and right speakers may cut out or go in and out which is distracting. Can also hear them make slight popping sounds at those low volumes as if they are "activating" which is quite distracting in scenes with faint audio such as footsteps. But for the price of $199.99, a small compromise. At medium and high volumes, the sound is great. I've been recommending this to everyone I know. Do yourself a favor and get this if: You're tired of your tinny tv speakers, don't want to spend a fortune, or want a beginner setup to see if surround sound is for you.

Fantastic sound and super easy setup! It gets as loud as I will ever need in my living room. HDMI CEC connection means never having to fiddle with the included controller! Took off one star because there was a manufacturer defect in one of my rear speakers (the threads in the speaker were the wrong size so the mounting system was unusable)

price matched this 179. This is an excellent soundbar setup you cant go wrong. There really unfortunately isnt a better soundbar. And for what this costs and does it just light years ahead in value. The bass is absolutely excellent. It is totally frustration free and seamless. This doesnt have 4k pass through but if you have arc you dont need that. and if you dont have arc you just need to get a 4k hdmi splitter for 13 dollars there is no loss of signal at all.

Setup was easy for the Vizio 5.1 soundbar and surround speakers. Everything was labeled clearly with tags so I knew which cord went where, etc. Connected it all up - minimalist instructions, but since I understand the basics, it was ok. I also have an old analog tuner and was able to add that in addition to my television so I can use the Visio system for speakers for radio & CDs, using the regular Aux input (not the one for units like Alexa, etc.) The only hiccup was in figuring out my Hisense TV's audio settings, but after a bit I figured it out and was watching the tv with fantastic sound! The backlit little screen on the Vizio's remote is great for setting changes and input selections. It has great sound for the price, and looks great. The satellite speakers and subwoofer are across the room behind my couch, and that works out well. I noticed that the full surround effect is best when sitting on the couch or the satellite speakers aren't really prominent, but that's the way surround sound is designed. Only thing I can give as a thumbs-down is the setup directions, which for anyone who isn't familiar with setting up things like this would struggle with.

The V-Series delivers a robust 5.1-channel surround sound experience, enhanced by Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X technologies. This setup creates an expansive soundstage, making movies and music more immersive. The wireless subwoofer adds depth with its punchy bass, elevating action scenes and musical performances.

The sound on this is awesome. You can control individual speaker levels as well as other functions on the remote that has an LCD display. It has a total of 6 speakers and the dialog is very crisp and clear on the center speaker. The wireless subwoofer really makes you feel the sound as well. You can't go wrong with this sound bar.

Yup, easily out-sounds units costing a lot more. Instant setup, rich sound, good bass, elegant surround effect, clearly marked and easy to use remote control. Sync-up with my cable remote was automatic! Sound shaping modes make perfect sense and work as intended. Go to the store and sample this unit versus the others. Movies, news, sports (even golf!) all sound better. We graduated from a very good 2.1 system and glad we did.

Excellent product for the price. It sounds good and setup was almost a no brainer. I use it for both my entrrtainment center and for its bluetooth capability. My only gripe was that it has the HDMI ARC cable but doesnt include an fiberoptic audio cable. As i still have a slightly older tv that could have been an issue.

This system has really nice sound considering the small size of the speakers. The sub puts out a surprising boom. All the speakers are clear and coordinate sound well. Setup is pretty easy - you get fairly long wires connecting the satellite speakers to the sub, which is great for placement choices. Sound adjustments are not just gimmicks. I especially like the ability to increase the volume of dialogue. Adjusting within the remote is easy because of the LCD screen - a very nice feature. Excellent for the price.

Super nice sound, deep bass, great surround sound with the satellite speakers behind me on the wall. Easy mounting with the included brackets, but they could have added the screws to put the brackets on the wall with the whole deal (but any decent circumference screw will do the job). No WIFI connectivity like the previous model though, which doesn't matter much if you connect the speakers to your HDMI port in your TV. Does have blue tooth for your phone to be connected, as well as coaxial (old school, not sure why they even bother having that on these sound bars anymore), and optical.
