Great budget home theater and my family thinks it sounds great. Sound is clear, bass is sufficient although it could just be a bit louder. The system is well labeled and instructions clear so it was easy connecting the components.

I recently upgraded my Sharp TV and old Vizio Soundbar with a Ssmsung TV and Soundbar. The Samsung soundbar is a Dolby Atmos and it doesn't sound as good as my old Vizio. I found this unit in store as a open box item and I decided to get it for my patio. Boy am I glad I did! Everyone at home loves the sound quality and perfers it over the Samsung that was double the cost... I also like that you can control all of the soundbar settings with the remote and there's a display that spells out each setting. I still have it in the patio because Samsung set is controlled by a single remote and I'm just a matching set kind of guy, but if it weren't for my OCD I would've replaced my Samsung with this Vizio unit for sure.

Great sound, easy to connect to our Samsung TV. While the rear speakers and the subwoofer are small, they still put out great sound. Same goes for the sound bar - good sound, remote works well, especially like the display on the remote.

This is a great way to make the sound better from your tv and add the extra base that is missing that the subwoofer can provide. Easy setup overall and comes with everything you need for all types of options. I will be buying a second one at some point.

Sounded good in store so I jumped on it , mines I keep kinda low but performs well.. doesn't have a full visual menu for things .. you have to see everything on the controller and the white lights on the left of the bar. No instructions or advice for setup so you blindly click on things till you hear a sound for you. Speakers are really small considering the price which is crazy considering the performance. Your tv must have a HDMI(ARC) for it to fully integrate with your tv and devices

I am no expert, but I know quality and value and this sound bar has both. I am blown away. For this price point, I believe VIZIO has surpassed soundbars listed at much higher prices. Not only does this have an amazingly LOUD sound, it has no distortion of any kind at the highest volume level. The kit includes mounting hardware for both sound bar and rear speakers; basic but functional. I have NO regrets other than money spent on OTHER sound bars at higher prices that have offered WAY less in return. BUY THIS, you will not be disappointed.

    Nice sound Bar

Pretty nice sound bar for the money. The only issue i am facing with it is that when I have all the speakers hooked up to get 5.1 surround sound there is a known issue with it where the dialogue of anything you are watching is very delayed. Tried a bunch of settings recommended to get that fixed but it did not work. I am reduced to just using the bar itself and turning off Surround Sound just to fix the issue. Overall the sound is pretty good and has good bass for the money. setting up the 5.1 surround was nice but couldnt handle the dialogue processing any longer. I would recommend this for anyone on a budget. The issue that plagues it might be resolved with a higher end TV that decodes audio much faster than the budget TV that I own.

Easy setup and great sound quality, especially for the cost. I was just looking for something that's gonna be better than the integrated TV speakers but the sound bar, and especially the subwoofer surprised me. Great value!

I read all of the reviews and figured why not give it a try. It was on sale too. I had a LG soundbar before getting this, and I paid a lot for it and it was garbage. Setting this vizio soundbar was super easy. I put the subwoofer under my bed and the 2 surround sound speakers on my night stands. I never really leave reviews on products, but I really felt the need to do one for this because the sound is AMAZING! I have tested other sound-bars and this one surprisingly is one of the best. Pros: subwoofer really bumps. Different EQ settings depending on what you’re listening to (movie, music, gaming, etc) Dialogue on tv is very clear unlike my last sound bar. The ability to turn subwoofer off easily Cons: literally none so far For the price, its excellent quality

This is a great sound bar setup for those that watch shows and movies. The surround and sound quality is very impressive for this otherwise small setup. If you’re looking to use this with your console ie ps4 (I cant comment on Xbox). . There is one issue. In my experience with this, the unit cannot take Linear PCM and turn it into Dolby surround. I had a hard time getting DTS X to work with PCM as well. The reason this is an issue is, when playing PS4 games there is a delay if you force Dolby or DTS bitstream out. That means either accept that there is a delay (especially noticeable hitting a wall in gran Turismo) or switch to PCM and have no surround sound in games. I tried with eArc on. I’ve adjusted the settings on the TV and retested several times. The fix is, the M series sound bars that come out this holiday have two HDMIs. One in and one out for pass thru. This should resolve the delay since the audio hits the unit first. If you don’t have that type of setup and just watch normal movies or shows this is all a non issue. It’s a great system otherwise.

I’ve been thinking about getting a sound bar that makes my living room sound like a movie theater.. so I was looking at all these expensive sounds bar at Best Buy but I didn’t want to spend a fortune on it. Till I read about Vizio 5.1 surrounded sound bars, so I gave it a try and I was really impressed by the quality and that heavy clear bass. The only thing I didn’t like is that the two speaker aren’t wireless, but overall I’m so pleased with this purchase

Will give 5 stars for just the sheer number of cables that are included with this soundbar system, you should have no excuse for not having what you need to connect to a tv. The remote is an upgrade, while the screen on it is small, it makes it easier to navigate. The 2 satellite speakers work well, have long cables that should permit use in most rooms. Upgrading from a Vizio that has lasted for 7-8 years. Test drove this in store and it had better sound than a few that were double the price. After installing, very pleased with the performance, very happy with the sound it puts out. For what you pay, you cannot beat this soundbar, will it compete with a full blown 5.1 system? No, but is more than worth the money you'll pay for this soundbar.

The soundbar is a fantastic addition to my home entertainment setup. The sound quality is truly impressive, with crisp highs and deep, powerful bass thanks to the wireless subwoofer. Whether I'm watching movies or playing games, the 5.1 surround sound create an immersive experience. Setting up the soundbar was a breeze, and the wireless subwoofer offers flexibility in finding the perfect spot for optimal sound. The overall design is sleek and modern, complementing my TV nicely. I appreciate the different sound modes available, catering to various content types and personal preferences

I’m not that experienced with surround sound systems but this system is a fantastic unit. It has so many features and elements that can be adjusted. We watched Stranger Things and I had to make adjustments to audio because this baby is powerful. I live in an apartment and don’t want to disturb my neighbors. If I wanted to I could make my whole apartment vibrate. I tried the Bluetooth feature as well and it worked fantastic. Also the Siri-like voice that the system has is very calming and doesn’t yell at you (male voice). Definitely worth the money. My tv is a little older and I had to connect with an optic cable.

    Subwoofer could be better

    Posted .

The system did sound better at the store but that’s to be expected I guess. I am disappointed with the subwoofer, there is no way to control subwoofer output up or down (preferably up). The low tones are just not there. Unfortunately I was not informed about the system above this one had a better subwoofer and ATMOS. It was only $50 more. Overall this system could be better for the price point. The satellite speakers are cool but I think that’s what you’re paying for it’s obviously not the bass or bottom end sound. I look forward to returning this system and going up to a better system. Or different manufacturer.

I feel like it’s really easy to use and connect. I love that it doesn’t take much space. I like how loud it is but I would like something a bit more louder. I can’t complain though. I would definitely recommend for something nice and and not so expensive.
