My main issue with this product and why I returned it, is the static hum that the subwoofer emits if you have the bass turned up. You literally cannot have the bass all the way up and have to knock it down 3-4 notches because of the hum. I tried every combination of setting possible and it still happens. I even tried HDMI, optical and Bluetooth connectivity, which made no difference. Apparently this subwoofer issue is a known issue among those who own this system and contacting Vizio was a waste of time as they only offered a replacement and had no plans on fixing this in an future firmware update. Those who have replaced it and tried current firmware have reported the issue remains and that's really too bad. The EQs are garbage, and despite people saying that Direct is the best bet, it sounds really low compared to Movie, which is the only one I used. It really is a shame because otherwise, this was a great affordable setup, but now I have to spend a lot of time researching, buying, and probably returning some sound bars when I was mostly happy with this one except for this glaring problem. It hurts me to have to return this, but Vizio, you're slipping!
