I gave it a 3 star because when it works. It works. But let me tell you it can be a total pain in the butt. Connecting seems simple, but wasn't, for me. 1) It took me FOREVER to get any sound out of those. HDMI ARC was no use, RCA jacks were no use. Finally located the optical output in my TV and was able to use that. I followed directions, changed the necessary settings on my TV and still had to use Optical output, no biggie, it works (sometimes) 2) Rear speakers and subwoofer, randomly cut out for 5 or 10 seconds, then randomly come back on. Following the directions on Vizios website, I downloaded a new firmware update. Follow the directions, turn sound bar on, unplug from power, plug in USB drive, reconnect to power, should update…except, no. I received all White flashing lights indicating there was an issue with the update. Finally after the 3rd attempt and getting the flashing lights I disconnect the USB drive and miraculously it functioned just fine, the cut out of the rear speakers and subwoofer is better but still happens. With as much trouble as I have had with this unit I can’t recommend it to anyone. Like I said when it works, it works, but when it doesn’t it’s a continuing diagnosing process. I never had these issues with my LG, Samsung or JBL soundbars in the past.
