This is a great way to make the sound better from your tv and add the extra base that is missing that the subwoofer can provide. Easy setup overall and comes with everything you need for all types of options. I will be buying a second one at some point.

I bought this item during a sale ($50 off) and let me tell you, IT'S ONE OF MY BEST PURCHASES OF THE YEAR!! I don't have the words to encompass just how sweet this system sounds. Very clear highs. Incredibly deep bass. For this price, I'd say that this is 100% without a shadow of a doubt, the best sound system you can buy.

    Nice sound Bar

Pretty nice sound bar for the money. The only issue i am facing with it is that when I have all the speakers hooked up to get 5.1 surround sound there is a known issue with it where the dialogue of anything you are watching is very delayed. Tried a bunch of settings recommended to get that fixed but it did not work. I am reduced to just using the bar itself and turning off Surround Sound just to fix the issue. Overall the sound is pretty good and has good bass for the money. setting up the 5.1 surround was nice but couldnt handle the dialogue processing any longer. I would recommend this for anyone on a budget. The issue that plagues it might be resolved with a higher end TV that decodes audio much faster than the budget TV that I own.

Easy setup and great sound quality, especially for the cost. I was just looking for something that's gonna be better than the integrated TV speakers but the sound bar, and especially the subwoofer surprised me. Great value!

I read all of the reviews and figured why not give it a try. It was on sale too. I had a LG soundbar before getting this, and I paid a lot for it and it was garbage. Setting this vizio soundbar was super easy. I put the subwoofer under my bed and the 2 surround sound speakers on my night stands. I never really leave reviews on products, but I really felt the need to do one for this because the sound is AMAZING! I have tested other sound-bars and this one surprisingly is one of the best. Pros: subwoofer really bumps. Different EQ settings depending on what you’re listening to (movie, music, gaming, etc) Dialogue on tv is very clear unlike my last sound bar. The ability to turn subwoofer off easily Cons: literally none so far For the price, its excellent quality

Amazing sound and can make movies, and music much more enjoyable. The treble is nice a crisp, and has a fully adjustable equalizer so you can crank the bass up for those action packed movies or to keep your party jumping all night long to your favorite songs. If you dont want to break the bank but want that quality sound, go get this for your home. This was a must have after purchasing the Samsung Q70. I'm giving it a 5 out of 5

This is a great sound bar setup for those that watch shows and movies. The surround and sound quality is very impressive for this otherwise small setup. If you’re looking to use this with your console ie ps4 (I cant comment on Xbox). . There is one issue. In my experience with this, the unit cannot take Linear PCM and turn it into Dolby surround. I had a hard time getting DTS X to work with PCM as well. The reason this is an issue is, when playing PS4 games there is a delay if you force Dolby or DTS bitstream out. That means either accept that there is a delay (especially noticeable hitting a wall in gran Turismo) or switch to PCM and have no surround sound in games. I tried with eArc on. I’ve adjusted the settings on the TV and retested several times. The fix is, the M series sound bars that come out this holiday have two HDMIs. One in and one out for pass thru. This should resolve the delay since the audio hits the unit first. If you don’t have that type of setup and just watch normal movies or shows this is all a non issue. It’s a great system otherwise.

Will give 5 stars for just the sheer number of cables that are included with this soundbar system, you should have no excuse for not having what you need to connect to a tv. The remote is an upgrade, while the screen on it is small, it makes it easier to navigate. The 2 satellite speakers work well, have long cables that should permit use in most rooms. Upgrading from a Vizio that has lasted for 7-8 years. Test drove this in store and it had better sound than a few that were double the price. After installing, very pleased with the performance, very happy with the sound it puts out. For what you pay, you cannot beat this soundbar, will it compete with a full blown 5.1 system? No, but is more than worth the money you'll pay for this soundbar.

I’m not that experienced with surround sound systems but this system is a fantastic unit. It has so many features and elements that can be adjusted. We watched Stranger Things and I had to make adjustments to audio because this baby is powerful. I live in an apartment and don’t want to disturb my neighbors. If I wanted to I could make my whole apartment vibrate. I tried the Bluetooth feature as well and it worked fantastic. Also the Siri-like voice that the system has is very calming and doesn’t yell at you (male voice). Definitely worth the money. My tv is a little older and I had to connect with an optic cable.

For over six years I used the Sony HT-CT800 sound-bar in my master bedroom. Since it didn’t come with the surrounds, I had to buy a pair of Sony ZR5 wireless speakers for the rear surrounds. I will not lie; the sound was impressive. There were two issues with this setup though. The high total cost of this combination; and the fact that every time I decided to watch a movie or tv show in my bedroom, I had to go into its setup menu to re-establish the connection to the rear surrounds, in order to fix the suddenly muted volume. Tired of this issue, I decide to go with something much less complicated to setup and use. I wasn’t expecting too much from the Vizio V-series 5.1 soundbar, given the compactness of the wireless subwoofer, and its 5 inch driver. I quickly got it set up, opting to use a small rug to cover the surround speaker wires routed under my bed to the speakers on either side of the headboard. Vizio has cleverly made the connection of the wired surrounds to the wireless subwoofer. This means that placing the subwoofer closer to the listening area solves the problem of the limited reach of the color coded surround speaker cables. Once the sound-bar was turned on, “searching” was vocalized in a loud and clear male voice. The remote, is instantly user-friendly, with its simple layout hiding a host of features, such as bass level, equalizer settings for Movie, Music, or Dialogue, as well the level settings for the individual channels of the surround system. The night mode allows clear sound at low volumes without disturbing the neighbors. The sound quality overall is incredible for this price point. I usually use the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan to calibrate my surround setups as I consider it the benchmark of any home theater test. I was not disappointed. This sound-bar has very good steering as the on camera scene rotates in movies, switching seamlessly from the front channel to the rears and back. Bullets whizz by crisply though my room, and mortar shells can be heard whooshing from behind to explode with a booming explosion at the far front of the scene. At the store, the demo music was not bad for a sound bar either. Overall, my only regret is that I hadn’t bought this sooner. As one reviewer stated, it has cinema quality, at a matinee price.
