    The overall sound is pretty decent, but the bass/subwoofer leaves a lot to be desired. The subwoofer has the most obnoxious low thumping sound, no matter how low you turn it down. It drives me crazy at night, when I’m just watching something at low volume. You can hear it thumping just loud enough to be like, “Where is that thumping coming from?” It’s maddening. Also, it feels like no matter how much you increase or decrease the subwoofer and/or bass, there isn’t any change in the level of bass. I almost can’t get any bass out of it, besides that small thump. Another issue is that if I decrease a certain setting too much (I forget which setting) the remote resets itself and loses all of the settings. The soundbar is too quite, too, and I can’t get a good balance out of everything. I thought I could live with all of this, but I’m going to be returning it by the end of the week. It’s unfortunate, because the actual side speakers sound great. I’m sure some of this might be user error, but I’ve tried all kinds of things to get this where I want it, and I’ve had little success. The main issue is that thumping. I’ve found forums of people who’ve had the same problem, but none of their fixes did anything for me.

    It's not the best out there but we do like it. My husband likes that he can set it on dual to also have dialogue from rear speakers. On recommending it, it would depend what you are looking for. Don't expect the base to run you out of the room. I would say this soundbar is average.
