||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually have good luck with Vizio products, but this ones isn't one of their best, the first one couldn't connect tot he TV called Best buy was on Hold for 45 min, called Vizio and they said the soundbar was defective, was able to exchange it, tired everything with the second soundbar to connect to my HiSense TV I purchased as a package, The second soundbar couldn't connect via the HDMI ARC this was able to use the optical cable but still isn't ideal as the best is the ARC for whatever reason the HDMI ARC connection is compatable with my HiSense TV

A couple common things that can easily be checked with ARC connections are the HDMI ports on the devices and the audio settings on the TV itself. I would recommend to check the TV audio settings to make sure that the digital audio out is set to PCM, we want to use that for testing and can be changed later. We also want to make sure that the HDMI cord is connected to an HDMI ARC connection on both the TV and the sound bar. If the TV does not have an ARC connection we will need to use that optical cord. A few days later, I noticed a rumbling sound coming from the subwoofer, rather than the deep bass supporting the sound going through it. Of course, this was just after the 15 day return period. My suspicion is that this just happens to be defective & the sound bar would probably be fine to purchase. I recommend listening closely to the subwoofer once you have it to make sure you don't have the same issue.

Vizio in the past has made great 5.1 Sound Bars... this one has a few twerks to it that can be annoying to some. I hate that when you switch inputs there is an audible voice that you cannot turn off that shouts out what input you've switched to. If the soundbar is left on without any content playing at all you get a decently loud static from the front main bar that can be annoying. I've also had audio drop outs randomly but I'm not sure if that was a problem with my unit alone

All around good soundbar for the price
