It has Clear instructions and it took me about 25 mins to set up. We noticed there was an echo from the regular tv and the sound bar both trying to play the Audio at the same time. It didn’t always happen but when it did I would have to go into the TV menu settings and take off the “auto” sync with the surround sound and turn it back on and it was fine. Then meanwhile the movie, tv show or live stream concert was playing the sub woofer would turn off for bout 3-5 seconds which was very annoying. This would happen randomly throughout the movie/shows. We tried to change settings , re sync and I even installed the firmware update and the same problem persisted. I returned it after 12 days . The audio was amazing I other wise .

After I connected it to my Insigina TV using HDMI (ARC) cable I noticed I had no sound at all (set to HDMI input). I checked the TV settings and it was able to detect that the VIZIO sound bar was connected (INlink) and I was able to get an on-screen display giving me feedback on the VIZIO sound bar’s sound level settings but with no sound at all from the VIZIO sound bar (set to HDMI input). I then tried connecting the TV through the optical table and setting the TV to PCM out, but again there was no sound at all from the VIZIO sound bar (set to Optical input). I then paired my phone with the VIZIO sound bar, but again there was no sound at all from it (set to Bluetooth input). I then verified that I could hear a song played on my iPad before connecting it the the AUX jack with the audio cable, but again I got no sound from the VIZIO sound bar (set to AUX input). I even reset the sound bar to factory settings, but there was no sound from the VIZIO sound bar. I tried all inputs again but there was no sound from the VIZIO sound bar. I am returning it tomorrow.

On this sound bar there should be a Speaker Test option when using the sound bar remote and going to SETUP > Spkr Test > OK. Are you able to hear audio when the Speaker Test is run?
