I ABSOLUTELY love this little system. I recently moved and used to have a man cave (converted 1 car garage) with a decent Yamaha 5.1 system with dedicated Front (L/R), Rear (L/R), Center channel and subwoofer. And that was more than enough for me. After the move I was stuck to listening to TV speakers in a bedroom. Yuck! I couldn't stand it anymore and purchased this little VIZIO 5.1 system. I've never been a fan of sound bars but with this system having Rear surrounds with Sub I gave it a shot. I was blown away! I mean I know I'm comparing this to TV speakers but WOW. Now I'm satisfied with the sounds I'm getting from watching TV shows, movies or playing on the PS5. I even convinced a friend to purchase one for his small office/man cave and he is extremely satisfied as well. He even went as far as splitting the signal to one of the rear speakers into a separate amp then into a bass shaker built into his theater seat. And it all worked perfectly! You won't be disappointed.

Great sound quality. The surround sound is amazing sometimes I have to pauses my tv because I’ll hear voices coming from other area lol, the box is amazing as well!!

Sounded great out of the box - easy setup, easy installation. The sound bar did begin to malfunction approximately 3 weeks after I purchased it (just outside of Best Buy’s return period). The problem was hardware based and stemmed from Vizio, not Best Buy. This is being dealt with by Vizio’s warranty department which has been an easy process. While it was working properly, the bass was good, the sound bar had a great dynamic range, and the satellite speakers provided a full sound stage. I am looking forward to getting my replacement so I can enjoy it again.

If you're looking to upgrade your TV speakers, your best bet is to grab a great soundbar. While you can get some amazing soundbars for upwards of $500, I'm guessing most people don't want to pay more for their soundbar than they did for their TV. With the V51-H6, you're getting a lot for just a couple hundred bucks: not just a solid soundbar and a robust subwoofer, but surround speakers too. This soundbar gives you the opportunity to immerse your living room in quality audio without making a huge investment.

This sound bar is GREAT..... it is very easy to set up and has several ways to adjust the sound quality. It comes with everything you need to hook it up, both optical and hdmi cables are included. HDMI works better than optical all brackets are included for both speakers and the sound bar. You get a great sound bar for the price. Sure there are sound bars that cost way more and sound a little bit better but this one is perfect for me and the average user. Thanks Best Buy for all your help.

Sounds amazing, setup is simple, but randomly cuts my connection while connected with bluetooth, my device isn’t moving and it’s no more than 5 feet away whenever it’s disconnecting. forces me to grab the remote and restart the soundbar. I rarely have it above 1/3 the way up, and it sounds.. so good!

This soundbar is amazing. It sounds better than the samsung Q60T I tried before it. Amazing sound and deep bass! Great value.

If you’re building your home entertainment space and you want “big sound without big complexity or big budget,” the VIZIO V-Series 5.1 is a smart move. This is a wise buy, you’re investing in a great experience. And yes—you can still upgrade later without feeling like you wasted money.

Very easy to set-up. The wireless feature makes what little cords there are very easy to hide. The sound quality is superb for the price. I am a fan of music or movies with a bass that can pack a punch, and let me tell you, this sub does not fail to deliver. Having the speakers in the orientation recommended by Vizio is the key. With the sub next to the couch you are sitting on, you will definitely feel as the T-Rex stomps about in Jurassic Park. Would buy again.

Great sound. Simple setup. Highly recommend. Great control for bass and treble. The night mode was a great surprise.

Thw sound is amazing i feel like im in a theater when i watch tv even on 24 the volume is very loud if i put too 100 on volume you can hear the tv in the apartment hallway outside my house door closed i love love it

I was absolutely shocked that I was able to purchase a soundbar with a subwoofer & Surround speakers for under $200 (I think I paid $175). The sound quality is amazing and when it's cranked all the way up to 100% it's like having your own movie theater. I particularly like the white LED lights on the front that show you where your volume is at. The stands for the little surround speakers were not included, I bought some on Amazon for under $100. I liked the sound so much I bought 3 more. I put one more in my house and gave the others to family for gifts. 10/10

I've always had the best of luck with Vizio. I had to replace my old television, so I got a Vizio tv. I decided to add a sound bar system, and I couldn't be more pleased. It's easy to mount and hook up to the tv, and it rocks! I would highly recommend this soundbar system to anyone that wants excellent sound quality.

The soundbar has really good audio. The subwoofer has a really good base. It can get really loud.

Excellent 5.1 surround sound speakers with an easy to use remote to change/adjust sound settings. Was a xmas gift that I didn't think was necessary since I had a vizio 2.1. Having first used it to watch The Mandalorian season 2 episode 8 and, wow, while the episode was truly epic, I feel this 5.1 brought the experience to an entirely another level (almost theater-like). Have it connected via hdmi arc to a 55" lg and no issues with connection or quality. Highly recommend.

Nice unit for the price. Remote has many level adjustment options. Good bass and surround sound.

Purchased this to replace a piece of junk LG 4.1 version that kept cutting out the back speakers. OHHHH BUDDY am I glad I did. My rear speakers no longer cut out! Sound and bass are amazing! Quality of the wires, cords and speakers are great! I set this up originally on my old 1080 TV and it was amazing but now that I upgraded to the Vizio M Series to watch these products work together! Movie night with the family is an experience. I wonder if the neighbors hear the movie :)

I bought this initially to listen to all my music and movies. Now it's amazing to annoy my neighbors especially when they become annoying. The sound is fluid and you'll be able to hear it throughout your living quarters. Turns out my neighbors don't quite like it but I don't mind.

Replaced an older lg soundbar to get better sound. This was a great value, lots of sound and good bass. Easy to setup.

I bought this system to replace an older 5.1 Vizio system that started failing after 6 or 7 years of ownership. This system sounds equivalent to my older system, which is good because I really liked the old system. The remote has been vastly improved however. It is much more responsive and has a backlit screen. I have found that the configuration I like best is to have VirtualX processing off and TruVol on. VirtualX heavily amplified the sound sent to the rear speakers in a way that I didn’t like. The sound from the front is nice and clear and the bass response is very good.
