Sent opened, returned defective product!

They shipped it to me quickly from my local store. It looked like the box had been opened and returned. I got it all set up and the subwoofer was defective. One of the satellite speakers didn't work and there was a echo. I struggled all day thinking it my set up error but it wasn't. I called Best Buy and they said if I returned it through them, they wouldn't honor the sale price and I would be out another $50. I had to call Vizio directly and they sent me a replacement with a "hold" on my credit card until I returned the defective one. They were great but what a major pain!!!! I had to box up the defective one and set up the new one-again! This time is worked great! Sadly, I won't be ordering from Best Buy because of this experience. I'm afraid I'll receive another defective product.

Kinda disappointed

About a month into owning it, just been issue after issue. Half the time the sound goes in and out then sometimes no sound at all so I have to reset the soundbar to factory. I’m gunna try to have vizio fix the issue of possible but I’m thinking I’m gunna have to deal with it till I can buy a different one.

Soundbar disconnects from sub, leads to popping in

The bass is a bit heavy and vocals are sometimes tough to hear. My biggest grievance is just the disconnection. It sucks.

Not for movies

I purchased this item, unpacked it at home, looked at the components and cables and discovered there was no HDMI capabilities to send a video signal from the blu-ray player to the sound bar then to the flat screen. I phoned the manufacturer and they concurred. This may be good for receiving audio from a TV, video games or other sources, but a Home Theatre implies sound AND movies/video. I took it back. BB is good at allowing customers to return items the next day. I gave this 1 star because of the frustration of having to unpack and repack for the return.

Failed Vizio Sound Bar and Tech Support

After the first day of having this sound bar I would lose sound and have a loud buzz that would last anywhere from 3 to 8 seconds. I called Vizio and they sent me out a refurbished unit. A day later the refurbished unit did the same thing a loud buzz. I tried different tv's and different cables HDMI and optical I had the same results every time. I called Vizio and again they sent me another refurbished sound bar. Keep in mind every time I called Vizio I had to go through their whole testing procedure with them regardless if I had already done it. Also seeing it was intermittent they wouldn't do anything at that time until I called back to tell them it was still making the noise. I now have a sound bar that does not work and Vizio is no longer helping me. So please if you purchase this sound bar and it does not work take it back to Best Buy and have them switch it out for a new unit or get a refund and stay away from Vizio.

4 months and stopped working
