    Trash. Pops and crackles coming from speakers especially pronounced with music playing. Maybe I got a defective set but I was very disappointed with the quality and was not willing to try another from Vizio. There's a reason this is the only 5.1 system priced at $200. I returned for JBL 2.1 instead which is excellent! JBL quality as expected, would highly recommend getting that instead. Also pairs with my Vizio tv and my Firestick for volume control. Able to use only the firestick remote for everything!

    Great when it stays loud. A couple months after I got this it started to just shut off. I actually went and read the lower reviews and look it up online, and the sure enough it’s a common error. It’s like it just goes to sleep. Waste.

    rear speakers don't work

    4 stars for the sound bar & subwoofer 0 stars for the surround speakers power cycle the subwoofer & right rear works for 10 seconds, after that = nothing upgraded the firmware which is supposed to address rear drop-outs, but no dice if you don't care about the surround aspect of this system, it's not bad -- but it's not 5.1

    Bad Subwoofer in 2mths

    Pretty relatively easy to assemble, the only issue was that the subwoofer gave out and stopped working about 2 months in. The speaker wasn't abused or anything. The product was really underperformed for me.

    Beware if Shipping or Picking Up

    I bought this online using curbside pickup. The BestBuy employee put it in my trunk and I drove it home. When I got home, I saw that this was a RETURNED ITEM! The box was taped with white “security tape” and it had a shipping label with another customer’s name and address. It was obvious that this item was shipped to someone, who then returned it to the store (after opening it) and the store then sealed it and resold it. Unacceptable! I spoke to the manager but I doubt it will do any good. It’s apparent that BestBuy has a policy of foisting opened and returned products on its unsuspecting customers by reselling them as new. I returned it the same day for a full refund. At least that process went smoothly. No thanks to ordering for curbside pickup again.

    Great sounding surround sound with consistent connection issues. The surround speakers and subwoofer keep losing connection. Reached out to Vizio and their updates did not fix the issue. Don't buy this. You will regret this purchase.

    Wind from subwoofer

    Overall sound is good, however subwoofer has a noticeable wind like sound coming from it when watching shows that do not have a lot of bass in the current scene. If you can get past that, you’ll enjoy this system. I unfortunately could not.

    After using it only for one day with a Vizio TV, it did not want to connect back to the TV. Terrible product and after only a weekend use. Have not bothered to look at another one yet, and to think I almost let it in box waiting to move. Thank goodness I tried it out just to realize it was truly trash.

    Nit really all that great its nkt a true 5.1 the sleakers are also tinny skunding on start up and sometimes the rear channels play as loud as the center channels

    1star ratings are exact regarding Audio drop-out

    I've recently observed the issue with these speakers that there is an audio drop-out. In the initial days it was working fine but the issue was gradually intensifying. I immediately checked the 1-star reviews for this product and exactly saw the issue being described by many other verified users. Later as suggested by Vizio comments to update the version to 1.1.0.7, I've done that. For 2 days it was good, but from day 3, it has again intensified a lot. I'm writing this review while I'm listening to this speakers. So I solidly say that the fix is NOT working. Final word: The speakers are good ones for the price, but has FAULTY firmware.
