    Stopped powering on after 3 days. Honesty didn’t sound good when it did work. Surround was super muddy and couldn’t balance the rear speakers with front speakers. One would always overpower the other. Also the soundbar wall mount is impossible to install without the soundbar slouching down. Poor designs all around. Avoid avoid avoid.

    Total dumpster fire. Two years in, still fighting with it to connect to my Samsung tv. Reset everything multiple times. Works for a day or two then wont connect. Tried HDMI, bluetooth and optical, same thing. Utter garbage. Mega frustrated. Never buying vizio again. Buhbye. I would prefer a refund Bestbuy.

    Thought I was getting a good deal , until I found I out that I am paying for a surround sound system that doesn’t work 80% of the time . The back speakers that are connected to the subwoofer cut in and out constantly! I’ve tried the google search of how to upgrade the firmware, however it doesn’t work . Unless you have a clear cut definition on what is wrong with your system . Sucks I already destroyed the box . Not good Vizio, not good .

    I think I got unlucky and should have returned it as soon as I saw the defect. Voice loses every few min and it's ridiculous at this point. Waste of money.

    Not impressed. Returned it for an LG 3.1 which I got for $249. I had to pay a little more for the rear speakers but was worth it. The LG is vastly superior

    Sound system test not possible

    I was not given the opportunity to test this sound system at the store before purchase. Nor are any of the other sound systems available to test. So this one was inadequate for my needs and, because I cannot test any other sound systems, I returned it and I do not want to purchase another until I have the opportunity to hear them at the store. Please make sure that my refund has gone through.

    I was looking at this soundbar as well as a JBL, Polk and Sony. I’m glad I went with the Vizio. First off, it’s almost impossible to find a 5.1 system in this price range and I was skeptical about this one that offered it in the same price range as the others I was looking at that were only 2.1, but am very impressed with the sound quality. I’m not a sound junkie per say, but I do have a nice set of bass reflex speakers with twelve inch woofers, and I have to say for only a 5” sub on the soundbar system, it definitely pumps out the bass. It won’t hit the super low tones as it only goes down to 50HZ, but it performed very well compared to my big speakers. Most bass in movies and the majority of music isn’t that low anyway. As far as mid to high range I don’t have any issues either. You have to play around with the sound settings, but this is very simple with the remote that has an lcd display on it to let you know what you are adjusting. With the TV speakers I had a hard time hearing dialogue, and the sound was very loud to the sides of the TV while quiet in front of it, but the soundbar took care of both those problems. The sound is very clear and with the dialogue adjustments I don’t have to have the sound cranked to hear what people are saying. Some other systems I felt had a tinny sound, but this system has very rich sound that fills the room. The only thing I don’t really care for is that when you’re playing music via Bluetooth and you switch the input back to hdmi (what I have the TV connected with) you have to stop playing music and disconnect the device (in this instance, was playing music through the phone) or it keeps switching the audio back to Bluetooth. A very minor annoyance. Set up was super simple. All things said, I am very happy with the system overall. I’ve only had this for a few days and will update if I run into any issues, but so far so good!

    Works great at first. Then as time goes on the 2 small speakers start cutting out from the Bluetooth connection dropping.

    Keeps cutting out

    I loved it at first, but about a year in the remote stopped working. then about six months later it couldn't find the sub woofer. I didn't use it all the time because it was in a spare room.
