Subwoofer out of sync.

Sounds like a light wind through a microphone. Seems like a crossover frequency problem. At higher volumes the soundbar was decent, like louder tv speakers. I ended up returning this and getting the Samsung Q600 which sounds much better

DO NOT BUY A VIZIO PRODUCT!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT PURCHASE VIZIO PRODUCTS! I have purchased 2 products which have both failed. Customer service is next to impossible to deal with (or understand) and are not helpful. I purchased a Vizio TV which after 2 years popped and had no display. After repair it worked another 3 months before display failed again. Purchased a soundbar with Surround Sound (not the M series but the V series) and noticed the sound did not match up at all with the TV display. Accepted the fact that I purchased a subpar sound system and lived with the poor sound. After 7 months with the system the surround sound failed completely and the soundbar is creating uneven sound from both ends. Called customer service and was on the line for over an hour doing the exact same things I already tried through a simple google search. After trying to bar with multiple tvs and input sources, they told me I would receive a call back the next day from support. They then said my systems software is outdated and I needed to use a thumb drive to update it. Why they are selling products that become outdated after 7 months and need updates is beside me. I am not going to update my soundbar via thumb drive when I will apparently have to do that again very 6 months. After sharing with friends they all have had similar experiences with Vizio. Point of the story, please do not purchase any Vizio products. I would think they would eat the cost of sending me a new $200 soundbar to avoid a disappointed customer and bad reviews but I guess not? Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

Poor satellite reception

Unfortunately, the wireless satellites regularly cut in and out, 2-5 times an hour, and the results are always jarring. Problem persisted after upgrading firmware and resulted in returning.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this soundbar for a few months now and have called Vizio three times for support. Each time they want to troubleshoot the issue, but it never gets resolved. The soundbar will intermittently have a popping noise with static, or I will have no sound at all. The tech support agent will say the issue is resolved when I am on the phone because they don't seem to understand that this is an occasional problem. I have followed their recommendations, and I also replaced all my HDMI cables to see if that would correct the issue. So I am left with a soundbar that makes the occasional popping noise or has no sound at all for a few days. I am highly disappointed, and I don't intend to purchase Vizio products in the future.

Do not buy at all

I am definitely going to return this item. There is a link that explains exactly what’s going on and all units are the same. Shame on Vizio to sell this and this problems go on past a year with no fix. Total disappointment

Subwoofer keeps making a popping sound with my ps5. Tried to change the audio output options on the ps5, the audio format options, a different hdmi cable, and I moved the thing to three different places in the living room to make sure no other devices were affecting its bluetooth connection. Man I was really excited for this thing too. Now i gotta go return this thing i just bought!

Would not recommend this unit because it failed 16

Broke with in 16 days of light use, and of course can’t return after 15 days at Best Buy. Going through replacement process but if it breaks that fast it’s a red flag. The sound quality is ok, you get what you pay for. I would recommend not buying this unit. Spend the extra money for JBL or Sony. I wish I could return the unit because it completely failed and the manufacturer has no explanation why.

No sound from rear speakers.

Do not buy

The sub always cuts out like its was built samsung's engineers that made their 5.1 sound bar. So now I have the sound bar for TV sound to which i compare the sound from it to about the same as two feathers fighting, horrible sound quality mainly bc it needs the sub and other two speakers, and the sub makes an ok boat anchor as in it doesn't even do that well either. DO NOT BUY!

Missing remote and chesper at other places

Unreliable junk. Bought 4, already had to return 3

The sub and surrounds started going in and out so it sounded horrible. They quit responding properly to the remote too, so I couldn't even shut the rest channels off. Had to turn off the sub and surrounds altogether. Thank goodness I could return these. First experience with vizio has been horrible. Do not buy!

Remote controll is useless as it has no backlight and I cant see whats going on. Secondly, sounds from rear left and right channels don't separate, you hear left rear from righr rear and vice versa. Had to return.

Not Great But Okay

Quality isn't there
