Remote stopped workling after an update to the tv. Has connectivity issues where the smartphone app works occasionally. Black colors on the tv look terrible

Purchased this TV as a gift for my son. He is very happy with the picture quality and other features. TV did need a wall mounting package, and as expected, it did not come with one. I thought the price was quite good.

Has great picture for the money if you get on sale. Highly recommend if you want a 4K tv for under $600. Remote is very limited so everything's goes through smartphone but hasnt dampered my use of tv. Very pleased with purchase.

Though we're still looking forward to seeing more 4K content available, the tv image quality is excellent and we've loved the integrated chrome cast ability. It makes watching movies from our mobile devices very seemless and easy.

Have been extremely happy with the TV itself. I really take issue with the shipping practice of simply leaving the package outside without knocking on the door or otherwise notifying me of the items arrival. This has happened on this and other shipments.

Great quality overall awesome tv would recommend toy friend

Price was great for a 50". I needed a new TV for my bedroom so I upgraded from a 32". Like most other Vizio TV's it was not very thin but not that big of a deal. The Smart Cast app is pretty slow compared to using the actual remote that came with the TV. The only reason I dont use it is because the Netflix app on the TV saves my login info and if I try to do it through my phone I have to reenter everytime. Picture is good for a $400 flat screen. We shall see if it lasts. I am only giving a 4 star rating because I have only owned it for a month and can't vouch for longevity.

I needed a slightly bigger TV and wanted one that was easy to control with my phone. This TV has it!! Super easy, great picture quality, and fits my needs!!

We purchased this TV for wall mounting in the bedroom. While it has plenty of inputs for HDMI sources, the smart features are so extensive that we seldom need any accessories to watch the content we want. The picture quality is very good, and sound quality is good even without a sound bar. We actually bought it with the intent of eventually adding a sound bar, but realized that we really didn't need one after a few months using this TV. The only downside I would say is that about once every 3 months or so, the TV has a software error that requires it to be unplugged and plugged back in again to reset. It's otherwise the perfect TV, though, and this is a little annoying but not a huge deal.

The features are numerous. Easy set up and stream right from your phone! Only features missing is voice to text remote and a headphone jack.

Easily earns five stars in my book for the size, resolution, and compatibility (plays well with other Vizio accessories such as the 5.1 channel surround sound bar) . What I've been more impressed with is that the display consistently stays on the cutting edge as far as internal product offerings go (ie Chromecast), with automatic over-the-air software updates. Vizio even sent us a remote control upgrade so that it could work with the new software - free of charge. Now THAT is excellent customer care, and will keep me on-board for years. You can count on referrals to friends and family from me. Kudos to Best Buy for carrying a great product from a fantastic company at a really affordable Black Friday price.
