The screen would flash on and off. They repaired, then replaced my TV. issue persisted when having 2 CEC devices hooked up to the TV. Meaning, no Apple TV & another smart device, PS4, Roku, etc... solution: don't have them both on... seems like a crap product to me. Here I am April of 2019.. backlight dimming is busted. I now have a dark bar going from the middle of my TV all the way to the right, about 1/3rd of the way down, about 2.5 inches thick. this issue is just frustrating, like popcorn stuck in your teeth. some images don't show it as bad.. I contacted support; nothing they can do. I can buy a new TV, or live with this darker portion of my TV screen. I'll go with a better brand. Being completely fair, I do not know how other TV's warranty stack up to Vizio, and I was offered a "discounted" TV. This don'ts solve my problem . Who wants to buy a new TV every year or 2? seems like poor quality to me. No matter how I look at it. If other brands do this, I'd say they were poor quality too. In short, get a better brand name.
