Bad off axis viewing

The contrast ratio did not seem as good. The worst is that unless you are sitting directly in front of the TV, the picture is very poor. It totally washes out as you move to the side. It’s a shame, I don’t know how they won their awards. I think they may have changed components since CES.

Sites like CNet, RTings, and Reviewed.com consistently rate VIZIOs picture quality among the best in the industry. To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and that you’re getting an HD ( or UHD) signal. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the Vivid setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. Also recommend turning on enhanced viewing angle. Do not buy this TV!

After getting it mounted and set up, I was immediately running into issues. 1. It wouldn’t connect to internet, so it says... after entering the password over and over it would say my network wasnt connected, and then after trying to switch to another network, low and behold it said connected. After skipping past that and all of the other set up I was then stuck on a “looking for updates page for about an hour, eventually it miraculously worked and It had everything loaded on the home page. About an hour into watching Netflix and playing some games, the tv started aggressively flickering for 2 minutes at a time, I checked every setting that could possibly cause it, and nothing would fix it. I went through every possible reset and troubleshoot, and still nothing. Then after factory resetting it, it simply would not turn on. And now will not turn on or do anything at all. After about an hour of total watch time, the tv seems to be toast. I really should have listened to the negative reviews, don’t make the same mistake I did.

Don’t buy this TV

I have been using this TV for a month now and I have this issue after a week of the initial purchase date. I have not bought protection or extra warranty for this TV because I trusted both Vizio and Best Buy but now I am stuck with this TV. Very disappointed.

I’m not so sure.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this tv but I’m upset at the fact that something went wrong with the hdmi ports and now my screen glitches when I’m connected and playing on my Xbox. When checking to see if I could exchange I was already “past exchange date”. I purchased on March 20. Seems incredible that a company like Best Buy doesn’t offer 30 day’s especially when it comes to products like these.
