OK but too frequent issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's not horrible, but we've had problems with it from the start. Frequently won't turn on, unless you unplug it and hold in the power button on the back for 10 seconds, plug back in and try again. SmartCast also seems to often be having issues / inaccessible. Today it just randomly turned itself off while watching, seemingly for no reason. It's not mounted (would work with our universal mount, but the latter seems to be at fault). Air circulation around the TV shouldn't be a problem, so I doubt it overheated, as we hadn't had it on for very long. Honestly getting pretty tired of the constant headaches. May end up returning it as I can't figure out what's causing these issues. This our first Vizio TV; we bought it as a replacement for a smaller Samsung TV that died after about 10 years. I don't see myself buying another Vizio, based on this experience.

Blank Screen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I purchased this tv mid October and I love the features and apps that come with it, but within the week the picture stopped working. The logo would appear but immediately go away; at the time I thought it was turning back off. After trying repeatedly I unplugged and tried again, it worked. Then it happened again last night, a month later. However I realized that the tv was still on there was just no picture. I actually documented and recorded the experiences because at this time I want another tv. I don’t want to keep going through this And I know this sounds crazy but I can never turn the tv in with the remote; I’ve tried all the angles. I can turn it off from anywhere, but I just turn it on with the button on the tv I was going to purchase this in a larger version for my parents but I think I’ll go with a Samsung

Issue after a week
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Vizio 50” M Series a week ago and really liked it and then yesterday the TV would turn on all by itself. I kept turning it off and it would stay off for like 30 seconds and then turn Itself back on. Finally I just had to unplug it.

Trash for 400
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture and actual trash software. TV firmware currently has many bugs related to Audio and Lag. My audio is desynced and required a full reset every day, my audio has to be cranked to max and slowly backed down to maintain a decent sound, and it's filled with just garbage on the home screen that you can never get rid of. This whole TV was a waste of money and it's not returnable under warranty due to the defect bring software....

Great TV right out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought and set up a new VIZIO M50Q7-H1, delivered by the professional Geek Squad. Setup was easy, as I already owned a Vizio 50” from several years ago, which the display backlight failed. After completing setup, we couldn’t access contrast, brightness nor sharpness in the settings menu, with the remote. We downloaded VIZIO’s App and used it to control the brightness and sharpness. Not sure why the tv remote wouldn’t work, but all else seems fine.

Disappointing Product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a Vizio customer for more than 15 years and I never had any problem with their products. However, this TV is not turning on and I must unplug and plug the power cord. I have been using this TV for a month now and I have this issue since a week after the initial purchase date. I have not bought protection or extra warranty for this TV because I trusted both Vizio and Best Buy but now I am stuck with this TV. Very disappointed.

Thsi is the cheapest TV.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had researched several TVs before settling on Vizio. I didn't want the cheapest Vizio, I decided to go "upscale " and get an M-series. I should have known that M stood for mostly cheap. This tv was delivered after waiting a week. The driver and his helper were very professional and courteous. That kid had my TV upstairs in the livingroom so quick I thought someone hid it. The first problem was the tv started shutting off when I pressed the volume in smartcast mode. I watch alot of b&w programming. But on this tv it was black and blue. I used the support link and it took 4email before Vizio customer service even knew what was the problem. I spoke with 3 people. Finally I got listened to. They did some sort of update and it ceased shutting off. Now on to the blue screen issue. I must have sent them 6 or 7 sets of photos of the problem. Only to be told I had sent them to the wrong email address. They never said anything about where to send them. Longer story short Nothing I did resulted in them doing the right thing. DON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! Oh yeah, I got a sound bar too same soup different crackers

Begun Malfunctioning after 4 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this tv & was happy with picture quality but 4 months later the volume began cutting out when I change the channel. Horrible experience with Vizio customer service & had to scream & yell at them every day for two weeks before receiving a replacement. Just received the replacement today. Wish me luck that I don't have to do this again in another four months. Speaker quality & frame are nothing like what Vizio used to offer. Vizio has definitely cut corners & no longer provides the same quality as they once did, this coming from a Vizio customer that had a previous tv that lasted for many years. I can see the quality differences from old to new.

A Little Help w/ Enhancement of SPECs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I figuring out the best specs for that quantum experience is wanting. I am not technician savvy so if I could get some information in a more comprehensible manner I probably would LOVE my 50’ Quantum.

Only lasted 2 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy has the worst return policy I've seen. 15 days is a slap in the face to it's customers. This TV started acting up after 1 month but only occasionally. Now I have to call Vizio because every day I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to turn on, switching inputs sometimes turns the screen purple and I have to unplug it and plug it back in to use it, the darkening zones go crazy and areas on the screen will randomly go really dim to really bright over and over, and finally the sound will sputter like the speakers are blown. I've tried different inputs, external speakers, and different input sources and it does this to all of them. I regret buying a Vizio. Never again.

Power Issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bottom line- do not buy. I purchased two M50Q7-H1s and both had significant power issues. The TVs would have the power indicator light on, but nothing would actually turn them on- not the remote or the power button. It takes unplugging the TV in order to make it functional. Vizio sent out a technician to replace two components on each TV, yet the problem persisted in both. Vizio then sent replacements for the TVs and within 1 day of setting them up, they are already having the same problem again. This is clearly a software issue because 3 TVs with the same problem is not a coincidence.

Worst purchase ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Chrome cast doesn’t work Airplay doesn’t work Picture digitizes and drops from a corner of the screen. Vizio has sent a tech out who swapped the logic board and it’s still a heaping pile of trash.

Errors, problems, malfunctioning
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It would led just long enough that I could not return it to Bestbuy, I’ve had the screen go blank, the remote will not work, a weird delay for remote functions, and others. Terrible design.
