First and last time I buy Vizio.

I also don't think the user interface is that great and the number of apps available are limited. eg: How is a major content provider like showtime not available? You can always get a streaming device to use instead but why should you have to do that on a brand new TV with streaming built in.

Not Living up to Expectations

The picture is average and everything else about it is horrible. Last night, I couldn’t get it to turn off. Seriously. No combination of remotes would work, neither would the button on the tv itself, so I had to unplug it. When I turn this tv on, it takes a few minutes to “warm up” before it will respond to any remotes. Also, it shuffles randomly between inputs without me pushing any buttons (ie, I’ll be watching HDMI1 [cable] and it will shift to HDMI2 [FireStick] by itself). Lastly, the picture drops ALL THE TIME and I get an “HDR10” box pop up in the corner of the screen. I have never had a worse experience with a television, and this thing is only like 2 months old and I’m already considering e-wasting it and buying a new tv since I can’t return it and I’m not going to flip this to someone else for any small amount of money knowing how poorly it has performed. My experience has been that bad. This is my first Vizio product and I purchased it before there were any reviews thinking I could count on Vizio to put out a good product based on their track record but I am beside myself with this thing.

To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and that you’re getting an HD (or UHD) signal. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the Vivid or Calibrated setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. I have a VIZIO 50 inch I purchased in 2013. I thought I was getting an upgrade, i was sadly mistaken. This VIZIO was way smaller and the color content was not as near better that my original vizio back in 2013. Needs More Body and better color content.

Vizio quantum 50 inch tv

I recommend spending the more money for a Sony or Samsung to be honest. This serves a purpose but falls short in overall quality
