Noisy electronics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got back from Best Buy exchanging my first MQ6 with another one with the hopes of the first one being a one-off problem. Nope. Second unit has the hissing noise when the TV is off (and Quick Start mode is active). The standby power supply in these things is noisy. I initially didn't notice it, but its one of those things that once you hear it, you can't unhear it. Narrowed it down to the TV (unplugged everything connected to it, factory reset, etc.) and once it's unplugged from the outlet, the hissing goes away. Too bad too, because other than that I like the TV. Welp, this thing is getting returned and I'll just get a different brand.

Lower Image Quality

To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and that you’re getting an HD (or UHD) signal. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the Vivid or Calibrated setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. does not work with stereo systems
