    This TV has given me so many problems since I purchased. The remote chooses when it wants to work. The TV cuts on sometimes and to doesn't. The only way I can get it to work is if I do a hard reset and then it works. Smartcast screen for apps also doesn't work. It takes a while for it to come on the screen. I wouldn't purchase this TV, I would go with a Samsung.

      Hi Tori, Sorry to hear having issue with the function of the remote control-Suggest power cycling remote-By removing the batteries and press each on the remote control and also aim the remote to the button right corner where your'e TV sensor is located. We also have the Smart Cast Mobile app that you may find in your Google play store or IOS app store. VIZIO

    This has seri and it doesn’t respond most of the time . The color is off somewhat if you look at it head on it’s fine but on a angle not too good

    Unfortunately had to buy a couple of time because of fractured pixels. Finally on third buy had them take out of the box and plug in before lugging home.

    Bought this new Vizio tv (50 inch), but when we tried to install it (professional installer), it worked for about one hour and then froze and would/not could not get it functioning again. Am purchasing another tv and hope that we have better luck this time.

    There is a bit of a delay when turning the tv on. The color is difficult to adjust to a true color. Yellow/blonde is very bright

To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the ‘Calibrated’ setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. There are also many internal setting that can be adjusted on color if the included presets do not fit your preferences.     I bought this for the luxury of streaming my latest shows and docking my Switch for gaming during this pandemic. The price point and size of this tv were amazing! The reviews were great! The features available on this tv were incredible! WHOOOO BOY. I ordered this via contactless pick up and service was great, but when I had to install this bad boy to my tv stand, attach our docking systems, and connect our direct tv receiver at home-- this tv literally broke my switch internally and it doesn't power on BECAUSE of this tv. Our receiver never connected, and the tv looked really dumb on the stand (I digress but it really added insult to the injury) I called both Best Buy, Geek Squad, and Vizio for support and they ultimately said deal with it or return it :) SO I returned it unhappily. The sound quality of this tv SUCKS and the picture quality is subpar. It felt like I was watching Hulu on a school computer from 2000's. I literally wouldn't wish this buying and installation ordeal on my worst enemy. Do you know how hard it is to replace a switch in these times and find a good cheap tv?

    Not compatible with Apple could not mirror. Could not transport my Amazon video and Netflix account. Was advised to buy Chrome cast.

    Purchased this for my mother to replace her old TV. Was assured it could be used without the Smart TV features as she does not have WiFi. It has been nothing but trouble. Randomly shuts down with messages about not finding a connection, and has now been made worse after the cable company installed a new cable box. I wish I could return it for a non "SmartCast" model.

    It was not functioning properly, the apps were not working. It was certified. I could only watch through cable and my blue ray player. Returning it was difficult because no return label available, and could not remove one of the stand legs because the screw was tripped. Could not get anyone on the phone. I sold, losing $100

      Hello Pelon, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark.
