Actually best buy charged me twice for the purchase. Until I raise a stink about already paying. Customer service was poor and the has no stand\feet and upon returning to the store the kid tried to sell me a mount for $160+

Do Not Buy Vizio w/SmartCast!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vizio has a known issue with SmartCast for over a year and they still cannot give an ETA on the fix. So, you cannot access Hulu, Netflix, Prime, from the TV. Not even the "WatchFree" feature. Actually, you can get around this issue by casting to the TV from your smart phone or tablet. However, if you are trying to make things easier for your older parents/grandparents...this is not the solution. I found a Reddit thread about this issue from a year ago. When I called the local Best Buy, they said they had never heard of the issue.

Casting to the TV doesn’t work

In fact, unless I’m using the Visio app I can’t connect/cast to it at all. Tried multiple devices, even tried calling Visio for support, which was nothing but frustrating.

waste of time

Not sure if the damage happened in transit or what but shortly after unboxing I noticed a white mark towards the bottom of the screen, like it was missing pixels or something? I thought maybe it was whatever we were watching but nope. Then the remote wouldn't always work, or was severely delayed. Just not worth hanging onto, and I don't want that mark getting worse as time goes on and it wasn't cheaper as open-box than brand new enough to not return.

Posted .Hi Vincent. Sorry to hear that your TV is shutting itself off. Generally VIZIO TV's last for years, but occasionally they do fail. We have a manufacturers warranty, and if you can call us at (855) 833-3221 we'd be happy to see if we can fix it over the phone- and if not, well get service set up.

Didn't work

There is some issue with their software so the home screen and smartcast didn't work. We could only watch netflix or xfinity cable, but none of the other apps worked. The first customer service person I spoke with from Vizio was helpful and said the problem would be resolved remotely in 48 hours. 72 hours later the problem wasn't fixed, the second customer service person had no idea when the problem would be fixed and then the sound on the TV completely stopped working so we either had to watch cable at the highest volume or nothing. Turned it in within a week. NEVER EVER AGAIN

VISIO TV's power supply died within 4 weeks of use

Set up/started using on 12/9/19 and after during the 4th week of use, the TV would not turn on. The Geek Squad technician verified that the Power Supply was dead. I would have to wait over a week for a new one to be ordered & replaced, or I could still return the TV since it was within the Holiday return policy period. I returned it and bought an LG TV instead. I am thankful that Best Buy's return policy period was extended for the Holidays.

Don’t buy this TV!

This was the reason we bought a new tv for our bedroom. Gonna rip it off the wall and put our old one back up! SO DISAPPOINTED in the poor quality of this TV. Back to Sony products for me. I’m currently sitting on hold (22 minutes and counting...) with VIZIO. This will be my first step, then to Best Buy to RETURN this piece of garbage!

Dead out of the box

Went through power cycles etc and even admin reset. Black screen. Netflix would kinda work, nothing else would work or even show up on the screen. Fix your crap Vizio. I have another Vizio that is glitchy but fine. But too many quality control flaws

Apple Airplay connection is horrible on it, not every video streams. I got over it. Whatever. But now I can't even get the home screen with all the apps LOLOLOL dude, gtfo. So use the app buttons on the controller, right? HA. Only Netflix works, everything else DOES NOT even show up when I click them. HORRIBLE, STAY AWAY. I never leave reviews. HAD TO this time.

Bought this TV, supposed to be Geek Squad certified. What a piece of junk! Got this junk on May 9 and out of the box, the TV never worked. No video, movie channels, no nothing. To make matters worse, stores are all closed. Trying to return by mail and at my own expense. Will not order Geek Squad certified again. Don't do it! Go to the store and get new products. Don't trust online for TVs.
