2nd tv delivered also did not work

Second one delivered was defective right out of the box. Doesn't even work. They now are making me wait over a week for another replacement. They took away my old TV (which was working) so we are without any TV at this time. If third TV doesn't work, I will never use Best buy again.

Do not buy!

The original one I ordered offline and had it shipped to me. It was defective out of the box! The only thing it would do is basically turn on and off and do the very first initial setup. I returned this one and exchanged it for a second TV of the same kind. The second TV was also defective right out of the box doing the same thing as the first one.

Good picture quality... TV constantly needs reboot

My warranty expired in May 2022. I have a smaller Visio that I've had since 2009 and have never had any issues with. I'm on a fixed income and can't afford a new TV. Super bummed...

Worst TV I've ever bought

It just keeps shutting down and starting up. This is the second time this has happened. I'm about to take it back and just get a refund. Apparently this is a normal thing for this tv, I searched for answers on google and youtube. Unfortunately I found way too many people having the same problems with no real solution.

The TV was defective !

I set TV up according to directions 3. The TV would not intial program 4. The screen was half black and half vertical color lines . 5.power button did work , sound worked . 6. Had chat with Geek squad Rep ! She felt the TV was defective and should be returned. 7. Spoke with BB staff and arranged a curbside return . Staff were all helpful !

Not worth the trouble

This one I brought home, set it up, and got a blank screen. The smart feature did not work. I returned it and exchanged for a different one. Got home , set up, and again the smart feature did not work. Took it back and bought a different brand which I am very happy with.

I would not recommend it unless you only want something to get you by until you can afford a real tv (as is my current situation). It comes with basic apps, but I still haven't figured out how to download new ones; I can only assume there would have to be a way. The screen randomly goes black with no picture or sound, and you have to turn it off and back on to correct it.

In the meantime you can cast any of the thousands of Chromecast enabled applications from a mobile device on the same network as your television. Posted .Content in the store, is usually displayed at HD, of UHD. If it's not looking that good in your home, we'd recommend making sure that your devices are connected with an HDMI cable (So it's transmitting HD quality signal) and that your devices are set to 1080P (HD) or 2160P (UHD). If you're not sure how to do that, just go to support.vizio.com and click on 'Contact Us'. One of our support agents will be able to help you.

Terrible

Worked perfectly fine for a week. Then it never turned back on again. My advice is just buy the brand you are used to. I returned the Tv and paid the 110 extra for the Samsung Tv. I have loved to saved that but hey I really needed one their older Vizio models were beautiful and worked perfectly fine for years.

Posted .Hello steve, the SmartCast input does have limited applications installed and you cannot add extra apps to the input. We are continuously evaluating new applications for possible addition to this screen. In the meantime you can cast any of the thousands of Chromecast enabled applications to the TV from any mobile device on your network.

Smartcast

Brand new out if the box Smartcast does not work. I've reset, unplugged, disconnected the sound bar --- nothing. Very disappointed. Tried the Geek Squad 2 hrs ago but no one answered.

Audio cuts out constantly

Vizio finally sent someone to fix it and it was good for a while. I moved 8 miles away 6 months ago and it is back and worse than before. I’ve emailed & called Vizio customer service but have heard NOTHING from them.

Rarely, damage will occur during transportation, and since our packaging has been certified to prevent damage while in transit, we’d recommend you reach out to the shipping company and retailer to file a claim. Most shippers will allow you to file a claim and reimburse you for the cost of the television.

Took to long to program

To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the ‘Calibrated’ setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. Don’t buy, cannot use many apps, stopped working

We had already realized vizio was not the brand for us but now that it does not even work, i thought i should write a review. Only had it 15 months

Bad purchas

I was upset then I called Best Buy to see if they could help me but they said that the Manufacture for this tv wasn’t working. I love Vizo TVs but this made me mad and how Best Buy was still selling this crap tv
