Does not come with mounting hardware

The TV might be fine and all, but the website specifically indicated that "mounting hardware" was included, and it was not. It came with a stand (which was listed separately as far as what was included), but nothing else, not even in a separate box. We called Best Buy customer service and even they could not explain what "mounting hardware" is supposed to include, and they would not provide us with the bracket that we expected to be receiving. All they would tell us is that "mounting hardware" does not mean a bracket, even though they couldn't tell us what it was supposed to be. What I'm saying is, buyer beware. If you ordered this from Best Buy as opposed to some of the less expensive options on other websites, just because of the mounting bracket being included (like we did), you're better off just buying the cheaper TV and buying the bracket separately, because THE BRACKET DOES NOT COME WITH THIS TV. Hope this helps someone.

    Use caution

Use caution when buying a Vizio E series TV. I have had one for a year and a half and it was wonderful for that period of time. Now though I continuously get error messages every time I turn it on and have to turn it off and back on several times before it will finally accept a signal from a source. When you search this issue yOu will find numerous cases of this problem with Vizio TVs. Of course the warranty has already expired and the charge for repair is in excess of $330. For a TV only 18 months old.. If you buy a Vizio, I would strongly suggest you buy an extended warranty which I did not do. I never imagined it would fail so soon. For myself, i will never buy any Vizio product again.

Tv has great picture and good app functionality. No sound from the tv speakers no matter what I do. Called Best Buy and vizio. They both said to swap it for another. I'll never use those speakers so I kept the tv but just wanted others to know.

    Taking It Back

In an attempt to upgrade from a LG Plasma TV, I purchased this Vizio with high hopes. The picture quality of the LG immensely surpasses the quality of the Vizio. Vizio's are great products, but this particular model is greatly lacking picture quality and clarity. When the TV is on, it seems as if you're looking through a plastic TV screen instead of glass; the High Definition is just not there at all. I will be returning it today and will be forced to spend some more $$$ on a better TV

    Just OKAY

Husband and I did extensive research when shopping for our new TV. This one had great reviews. We've had it for 2 days now and the picture quality is inconsistent (quality is great on close up shots, but downright blurry and borderline horrible on wide shots or action scenes). We tried every different setting to remedy this and nothing. We plan on taking it back and buying something different.

    Not worth it

About the time the one year warranty ran out the tv started to act up. The brightness started to fade on and off. Called numerous times trying to fix it they kept saying to turn off the auto dimming and auto brightness. I told them over and over that I did turn them off but the tv kept doing it. If I had known before I bought this I would have gone with a better brand. The tech service people have no knowledge how to fix the problems that Vizio tv's have. It was a hard lesson learned at $1000 when I bought this.

My 55 inch Vizio broke after 15 months. The backlight went out. They said there is no fix for the issue. Their customer service was even worse than their product. Don't buy a VIZIO.

    Do Not Buy This TV

I originally purchased 5 of these TV's for an office two months ago through Vizio. Two initially had to be replaced. So a total of 7 of these TV's have been installed at one time or another at my office. Right now only ONE works. They work very briefly, then the on-off switch will not work. Vizio has denied my request for a refund. They are blaming the customer, saying that the problem is on our end due to "file sharing" issues, but don't elaborate. From my research, this is only a problem with Vizio TV's. They said they will send out a technician. We'll see. I am totally unimpressed with this product and customer support.

    Horrible

My husband and I were looking for TVs at a regular price. At $599 it seemed like a great deal. He purchased our last Vizio around 9 yrs ago and its still going strong so we thought we would stay with this brand. We've literally had the TV for 1 full day and now it won't turn on. It started with the logo coming on and staying then the power just went out. We now have to re-box and drag it back to the store.

I purchased my tv just over a year ago. Worked great for the first year until my screen started going black. Sound would remain but no picture. Unfortunately I did not purchase the extended warranty so the deal I thought I was getting was no deal at all but in fact, a waste of money. Do not purchase this tv.

    File Sharing issue

I bought this TV and literally 35 days later the TV randomly came on and I couldn't get it to cut off and it totally locks up and you can't use the remote. I had to shut the breaker off. It happened again last night and I called Tech support and they said that I need to modify my wireless network. I can't do that and have my network operate. I have 4 other TV's and none have the same issue. They are not being accountable at all! I will be calling BestBuy next.

Had a pixel that was always blue/red

Bought this new the other day. After hooking up fresh out of box, upon powering up, There was a pixel that was blue constantly. Very annoying. This was my first Vizio product, and my last. I tried watching a movie that night anyway and it was very distracting. Also the sound wasn't very impressive.

AVOID!!! TV's don't even last longer than 16 months and you will get no support from Vizio. Fortunately Best Buy offered a substantial discount on our next TV (obviously not Vizio) Would have rated 0 stars if able.
