Overall had no problems with this tv. It's pretty neat how you can use your phone as long as you have a smartphone and download the apps you want to use and just cast off your phone. Would recommend to others.

This TV provides exactly what I was looking for from both cost and compatibility. The built in Chromecast option saved me a few bucks and the display is fantastic when viewing from various input devices.

I got a great deal for this TV when they had it on sale for a while but I was very disappointed with this purchase. My first problem with this TV was that the remote that you get is very small and doesn't have many functions at all. Vizio is moving to something called SmartCast and your smartphone/tablet ends up being the remote control for the TV. The TV could also not sense when HD channels were being played and the aspect ratio was off and I couldn't fix it. I called Vizio tech support and they were very helpful but ended up not being able to help me. I might have just gotten a faulty model but that was a deal breaker for me.

This is the first time I bought a VIZIO Smart TV. The picture quality is great, but even better when in high def. I'm still enjoying with no issues!

Most of the time has a clear picture but sometimes the picture is very block-like. All in all its a very nice tv with great sound and picture for the most part.

I really like this tv high quality speakers image but ,the only problem with the tv is ,that is not full smart tv the only way to see your app is via cast which I don't have any problem because I like that way .

We purchased this TV for my parents in June 2017. Brought it home, mounted it on the wall, picture quality was great and it served them well....for 22 months. My Dad called and said the TV stopped working. We tried the power cycle recommendation. Didn't work. Using different HDMI cable, nothing. Spoke with Vizio Customer Service who said it is likely that "the Backlight stopped working. It will be more cost effective to replace the tv than to repair it". Are you serious???? I said you're essentially telling me your product has a lifespan of less than 2 years, why would i ever purchase or recommend a Vizio product, to which all I was told was "I understand your frustration". I don't look at a TV purchase as a disposable item and can't recommend something that is essentially useless now after less than 2 years.

This is a great TV. Picture is awesome on it and so was the price. We don't use the Cast function we have smart devices that we pair it with instead such as an Xbox or Apple TV.

I made the mistake of believing all "smart" TV's are set up the same. My last one had the apps on the TV screen. I've had to download them to my phone and it is not user friendly for me. Disappointed. Be sure to read everything very carefully.

Bought as out of box for a great deal. The volume does not get very loud and the way you have to chance the settings on it is one of the dumbest things vizio could have ever done.

I purchased this television for my mother who does not know a whole lot about electronics. She was able to easily set it up and connect it to her wifi. This made her day!

Vizio makes a great TV; vivid colors, no image ghosting, stunning contrast. Perfect gift from my son, in his new pad. I am impress with Vizio. I already bought another one.

I like the television overall. I do not like the remote for this tv and do not like the fact that I have to use my phone for everything. It could be a little more user friendly than it is.

I bought this as an open box item. It works great. Very easy to navigate thru the menus. Clear picture, decent sound. Not overly heavy. Could use more inputs.

We have had this TV for about 2 years now. The motherboard has had to be replaced twice now over about 4 home visits from the Geek Squad due to the picture freezing. When it freezes you can't do anything but get up and unplug the TV in order to get it to reset. The first motherboard they replaced lasted about a month, we are on the second replacement now. From what I understand we still have to go through another replacement if it happens again before they will consider replacing the TV. Very frustrating to spend so much money on something and have to deal with these issues.

This is going to be your best budget 55" I've had Vizio TVs for 7+ years with absolutey no issue, and I expect the same out of this. Great quality and easy to use

Great television. Have enjoyed a Vizio for years. That being said, the new televisions that are being made seem to require you to purchase a sound bar or some type of sound system. The sound from just the television is very poor.

Vizio has always been a great tv for the price and this one is no different. I've had for about a month now and everything is working out.. it has a great picture.

It has what is called "Smartcast" not Chromecast that is in the description. It only works on a limited number of apps. Still a good tv with excellent picture and a great price.

Vizio Chromecast was a great choice for our vacation rental home. Our guests are able to manage their own viewing methods. Has a clear crisp picture.
