||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So for starters, this is our first 4K TV and I have to say the picture on our 7yo Samsung 1080 tv is waaaay better. The smart cast menu constantly reloads and states that there is no internet connection from a wired Ethernet. Apps will load using the quick access buttons on the remote during this time, so obviously an internet connection exists. The sound is tinny and doesn’t have the adjustment in ranges to fix it. The remote does have quick access buttons, but they include some options (Crackle) that aren’t really things we would use...it would be nice to have these buttons as programmable. The remote is very light and the casing feels very thin. Overall the TV is the cheap Chinese made low end product that we’ve come to expect. Expecting anything more than that for this $500 TV will leave you greatly disappointed.

Posted .Hello jayg, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. Please contact our customer support for assistance with your internet.
