Therefore, I couldnt get the shows I watch. Very frustrating, took the TV back.

Posted .Hello jojee, The SmartCast input does have limited applications installed and you cannot add extra apps to the input. We are continuously evaluating new applications for possible addition to this screen. In the meantime you can cast any of the thousands of Chromecast enabled applications to the TV from any mobile device on your network.

Worst tv I've ever had

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV turns on and off on it's own resets weekly and you cant customize apps so in short what's on it is what you get just like the first generation trash sales associate assured me it wasn't that way should have done my research but figured he knew what he was talking about TRASH ABSOLUTE TRASH. Call tech support you say, been doing that for a year now and all I get is that's normal and sometimes it needs to rest itself. So just imagine gone all day to work 12 hours come home to watch tv and having to log back into everything once a week not to mention rest your picture settings every time too will be purchasing a new tv this year and this one will go in the trash If I could give this no stars I would!!

Posted .Hi Jellytime. You're TV shouldn't reset, and you shouldn't have to log into apps more than once. Normally, if this kind of issue was occurring, we would service the TV under our warranty policy. Based on how your describing the interaction, I'm not sure that you spoke with VIZIO tech support. If you could contact our VIZIO team at 855-833-3221 we'd really appreciate the opportunity to help resolve this.

Posted .Hello Creature, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that your source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture settings that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room, try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room, try Calibrated Dark.
