It a good hd tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my opinion it is a good tv, not great, but good. A lot of shadows can be seen throughout the movies. As far as price, it is manageable.

Posted .Hello Rick, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that your source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture settings that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room, try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room, try Calibrated Dark.

Don't do it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst tv experience ever. Bought this a little over a year ago and of course it completely crapped out. The led blacklighting panel completely stopped lighting up on the left side. Called Vizio and of course the warranty just expired. I will never buy a Vizio again.

Not impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned the TV after a week. The color was terrible! It was very dull looking, almost like there was a haze over the picture. We played with all the settings and nothing helped. I understand 500 is not much for a tv but this seemed like a 300 dollar doorbuster. I ended up going with the LG uhd. No regrets.

should've forked out money for a better item
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had this tv for about a year. Recently the screen started going black then cutting back in. This happens randomly, but when it starts it happens a lot. Now the TV won't stay off when I turn it off. Hopefully user error. Calling to get fixed.

Geek Squad contact - BUYER BEWARE
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought less than 2 years ago a 55” Vizio and signed up for the geek squad 2 year contract. My tv died two days ago and I requested it to be fixed ASAP. Informed thatThe Geek squad cannot come to my house for 19 days, January 4th. This is totally unacceptable. I offered to purchase a new tv at a discount and have them cart away the broken tv. Although the gentleman with whom I spoke with in person tried to push up the repair date and was totally professional, I received No change in the repair schedule. THE GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION PLAN IS USELESS ! No tv for 19 days.
