Thank you for your feedback. So you are aware, advanced settings such as color, tint, backlight, and sharpness can be adjusted through the SmartCast Application giving you full control of the settings and allowing you to calibrate the picture to how you want it. In addition to using the SmartCast App, based on feedback provided by customers like you, we've recently released an update for VIZIO SmartCast Home Theater Display's that adds onscreen access to all of the settings. This new software update is rolling out to most SmartCast displays and will be downloaded automatically. To navigate the new onscreen menu, you can use any VIZIO TV remote with a menu button. If you don't have one, please contact our Support team to see if you're eligible. Terrible picture, no coax cable input and you have to use your phone. I was not happy with anything about this tv and it was my 3rd one in a 1 1/2 yrs. I exchanged it for a samsung which has a better picture, a true remote anf coax connection. None of this "Not a tv but a home thater display" crap. I believe vizio really needs to rethink their product.

Do yourself a favor and only buy this product if you love headaches and wasting your phone's battery life. The picture is nothing to write home about. The sound quality is nothing special....Vizio has a lot to learn about making good products

Please do not buy this piece of garbage. The Visio app disconnects everyday and you have to try to re connect it all over again like a d*ck. If you like wasting your life doing this then buy it. For me, I threw my cell phone into the tv screen..quite satisfying but very expensive! I couldn't use the words I really wanted on this review

DO NOT BUY THIS TV! I usually don’t write reviews like this, but I had this tv for 2 months and it stopped connecting to the internet. Vizio replaced it (which took a month) and the new one is doing the same thing. It’s totally not worth the hassle and I wish I would have chosen a different tv in the first place.

I purchased this 4K Television in 2017 and it is no longer operational. I thought these used sparingly, mounted on wall and it's dead. I paid close to $700 and don't know what to do. Vizio is an inferior product. My samsungs and sony 4k tv is still up and running after three years.

I bought this item because I thought it was a TV after speaking with the salesman, but when I got it home and tried to stream on it, I had to download everything to my cell phone and play from there. It was not a TV. I took it back immediately and bought an LG and love it.

I purchased this tv because it was a great price. After setting it up at home, I understand why it was so cheap. You can only use the SmartCast feature and that doesn’t work. I wouldn’t even look at a Vizio tv unless it is a M class version or better.

Ever since I bought it, this TV hasn’t lived up to the ‘smart’ part. SmartCast doesn’t work half the time, and now with AirPlay, half the time the TV audio just simply doesn’t work. I would not recommend this AT ALL.

Only had the TV for one month and the power supply went out. Replaced it with an LG. Didn't feel confident about them delivering a second one when at the store someone stated they have the same exact model and have had screen problems after 1 year.

If you sit anywhere but head-on to the screen your picture and colors start to wash out. .the further off center the more pronounced the wash out. I returned the set and got a Samsung.

    Great Budget 4k TV

I will tell you right now, that if you are looking for a high end 4k experience. You will not get it here. This TV is excellent for the price and I would definitely buy it again, but if you are a A/V enthusiast you will be disappointed. For the vast majority of consumers, this TV will fit your needs well for every day use. Pros: - The TV does a great job of upscaling lower than 4k video inputs. I was a bit worried it would be grainy, but it is not the case. - Response Time. I like to play first person shooters and have returned TV's in the past because they lag behind just enough where if you are playing a fast paced game, you will notice. This TV does not have that problem. - Built in Chromecast. It took me a little bit to get set up (turns out if you have a dual band router, do not try setting it up with your 5.8ghz connection because it seems to freeze when trying to set up. 2.4 works perfectly. If you don't know what any of this means, I wouldn't worry about it because 2.4 is pretty much the standard). - Aesthetically pleasing. I really like the way the TV looks and actually really like the small feet that it uses as a stand. I have not mounted it to the wall yet. Cons: - Lack of color calibration. This TV does not have a menu like most TV's where you can go and individually adjust the brightness, saturation, hue, etc... Instead it has 6 or so preset that you get to choose. I don't think any of them is perfect as the colors are almost always too washed out or too saturated. - Vizio's Smartcast App is garbage. Once you use this app to set up the TV, you will never ever use it again. It is not intuitive and seems pretty clunky. Thankfully, you don't need to use it when casting youtube, Netflix, or other castable apps. (Tip: You can use the Google Home app to cast exactly what is your screen to make any app work). - No TV Turner which basically means there is no place to connect a Coax cable to the TV. This really shouldn't affect anyone as most cable and dish connections use a separate digital box that is then connected to the TV via HDMI. (not really a con, just a heads up.) Overall, great TV for the money. Just don't go into purchasing it expecting a $600 TV to compete side by side to a $1200 TV.
