I do think it's a decent tv for the cost but in hindsight I should've went with the next step up in price, the Vizio P series.

Which is a huge disappointment bevause all of our previous televisions were a vizio

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you saw in the store. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark.

This was a warranty replacement (hence the lack of research before acquiring it). This TV comes with a separate wireless Android to control all user functions outside of volume and channel choice. It took 3 hours to download all the necessary software to the Android, and the only reason I did this was to fricking adjust the picture color (which I still had to look up the online manual to figure out how to do this). There are no onboard functions for such simple tasks.

It was the last day I could return the TV. I am replacing with the same TV, hoping it was a fluke and not this model.
