I've had this TV for 3 years now and still works like a charm!

I am very happy with my TV and I have had no issues with it. Perfect purchase.

Tv worked week and had a nice picture but the led lights went out after 1 year

Like other reviewers, I also did a lot of research on 4k TVs. Specifically, I wanted a 4K television with HDR to take full advantage of the Xbox One X coming in November. Most of the current crop of HDR TVs are on the expensive side with OLEDs being (in my opinion) prohibitively expensive. I saw what TVs met my criteria at Best Buy and started from there. The 2017 line of Vizio M Series TVs had quite a number of really good reviews. I went to go see it at my local Best Buy and I was impressed. So I decided to take a chance on the Vizio (it's my first) and I'm glad I did. Pros: The picture is super sharp and clear. Black levels are super dark. I'm currently playing Hitman on the Xbox One S in HDR and am very impressed. What a difference it makes. Colors are more true, shadows are more lifelike, sunlight and shadows look very realistic. I can't wait to game in true 4k and HDR with the Xbox One X. I wish more current games took advantage of HDR color and lighting but I'm sure that list will grow a lot with the release of the Xbox One X. There is also NO lag in playing any game with the XBox One S set to HDR and 4k upscaling. Movies also look excellent and standard definition TV looks very good as well. The SmartCast app being able to control your TV with your smartphone is really cool. Cons: The remote is very basic but functional. You just have to dig a bit deeper into menus with it instead of having a dedicated button for some things. And there's only one HDMI port (#1 port) that has the bandwidth to handle HDR. So if you have a PS4 Pro (I think it can handle HDR) and an Xbox One S or X eventually, you're going to have to decide which gets it or switch cables constantly. And the speakers are merely okay but most will get a soundbar (like me) or other speakers. Bottom line: This is a fantastic TV with future-proof features for a great price. And most importantly, it looks and performs as well, if not better, than higher priced models from other brands. It looks better than my Samsung that cost me much more. I wanted a TV to play games on with no hitches in 4K and HDR and I found it. Don't be turned off by the Vizio name like I was in the beginning. This is an awesome TV.
