||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Qled60 and it wanted to connect to everything in my home without permission and I don't think a TV should have that kind of permission and Vizio is just the opposite it allow you to have a 4K smart TV and you're in control of what it Connects too. I love that knowing that my television is not spying on me

Nice TV for the money.

This TV was replacing a 13 year old plasma that was no longer watchable. It's a secondary TV, and I only use it for streaming. Streaming setup was easy, but can't comment on other connections. The color needed a little tweaking, but once that was done, it's a very good picture.

My only concern disappointment is that when using the apps on SmartCast there seems to be no option to enable HDR. HDR can be enabled for all other inputs, etc. Highly recommend this TV.

Highly Disappointed

Day 2 - Sound went out while watching tv. I checked all settings and connections, everything was set correctly. After about 10 minutes sound came back on its own. Day 3 - Tv worked great. Day 4 - Turned tv on , no sound. Checked all settings again, everything set correctly. I called Best Buy to arrange to return. Even though Best Buy does a great job making returns as painless as possible, it's still highly inconvenient. On the phone for about 45 minutes. Pick up set for 2 days from now. More inconvenience, someone has to be home for pick up. Mean while, I left the tv on to see if the sound would come back.....it did almost 3 hours later. So, I will not buy or recommend anyone but a Vizio tv. I guess there's a reason why Vizio's cost less than the major brands, the quality just isn't there. I think Vizio should compensate a customer for their time when they have to return a defective product, maybe they would improve their quality.

We like Vizio TVs but...........

(altho' our daughter and her hubby got the 65' and they have NO such trouble with theirs). I was actually told in Best Buy that becuz the TV's are so thin now that the speakers suffer for it AND that they are on the back of the TV so the sound is directed away from you. So we had to spend MORE money and buy a sound bar, we weren't happy about that.

I think I got a lemon?

I have had mine for about 2 months now, and have had several issues. The first is the backlight clouding, which happens with VA panels I am aware, but it is distractingly bad on this TV. Any type of lighter colors, i.e. a sky or white, grey, bright backgrounds, will show the clouding badly. I've tried to ignore this problem and almost had until the next problem occurred. My audio had cut out once before, and after reading reviews I did a soft reset and it worked perfect. Then I noticed the audio would tear frequently in the last few weeks, and then yesterday there is no audio. At all. Like, no tv speaker audio, no sound bar audio, no ps4 audio, etc. I have done everything but reset to factory default settings, and am currently on hold with GeekSquad. Disappointed is an understatement. I had a $150 TV before this that had no issues EVER for the 3 years I had it. a $600 product like this should be of better quality. Hoping that I get a replacement!

Posted .Hello Nate, Typically if have no audio all devices as mention isn't going to be caused by the television. Also the display quality to make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and that you’re getting an HD ( or UHD) signal. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the ‘Calibrated’ setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. The colors really pop off the screen! The smart TV interface is intuitive. The sound is decent but I mostly use wired external speakers through a receiver.
